I know Drew jokes around a lot but I wouldn’t change a thing on that. I know there are cool body kits but I would leave as is and definitely wouldn’t touch the engine. It’s fast enough to enjoy and still be reliable enough. Anyways sweet ride

Get everything back looking like factory new condition, tasteful power mods that just remove restriction and let the car breath without gutting & cutting, I'm sure it sounds great & you got a bit of useable extra power while maintaining reliability. I am a bass head but I personally would not have that heavy box & subs in my pony car, I'd make sure my component speakers were on point and then maybe add a solid single lighter weight, lower rms sub in a custom fix specific enclosure you would have far less weight which equals more fun, more storage room & a cleaner look but that's just me nitpicking how I would do if it were mine which it isn't 😅 I see fox's constantly that have been molested beyond comprehension so it's nice to see someone build one and maintain its integrity 🙌🏆.

Drew you are wrong in my opinion. What if I upgrade my entire suspension by removing everything OEM and replacing it with after market racing parts, add some bracing, add a big brake kit, install performance headers and exhaust. get a performance tune. This is not a build?

If I bought a wrx I'd only get a base or if wasn't more expensive I'd get the TR. It doesn't make sense to buy an sti when I would plan on changing out all the parts for upgrades. Maybe that's just me but before I bought my stinger I was looking at a few wrx's
exactly. if you're going all out, (upgrading suspension, internals, DAMN NEAR ANYTHING OR EVERYTHING) it's not ideal in my eyes to splurge on the best model, just to change it all
I'm fixing up a 1979 MGB. Did the spark plugs, put in a new ignition switch, and am going to get a retrofitted fuse box with modern blade fuses. Bought some full way tires and am waiting for the snow to melt and dry up to get them put on and balanced. Gonna be adjusting the brake shoes in the meantime.

That's what stance cars basically are. Suspension, aero, and cosmetics. Lmao but at the end of the day, the build is what you're aiming for. If it doesn't take as much for your build to be complete, then that's perfectly fine in my book. Especially with it including fundamental things like brakes/suspension ect. Get it feeling right and don't overdo it.
Propperly modifing your engine is almost impossible if you life in Europe. Thoug I plan on getting cams and maybe get the head ported. But I don't have money, and the handling comes first anyways.
You don't have to touch your engine to have a build. There's so many sick build for stuff like autocross and road course racing that just have really good suspension and wheel/tire upgrades.

Yo drew if a stage 2+ on my f80 m3 and only mods are full exhaust, cat delete and intake mods and i am making 800hp and 950nm of torque on a safe tune is it a build cuz i haven't touched the motor only digital engine and gearbox tune
It's a setup, rather than build. An exaust setup. An intake setup. A tune isn't a build. I got a stage 2 canned tune and a catback set up with a ram air intake, and I'd say that it isn't a build lol. But I like it, and it's fun with the zf9 transmission.

The amount of man hours to complete Ryan Tuerck's Formula Supra is a great example. That's just an extreme "build" example, but that's a true build. I've spent maybe $15K on my MKV Supra, even I don't consider it a build. Just a few bolt ons, tune, 500whp, aero parts, cosmetics, forged wheels, etc. Heck my Audi R8 V10 has a titanium exhaust I paid about $7K for, is NOT a build. I think you guys need to stop being so offended when someone says your car isn't a build. Slapping on a few bolt ons, changing out OEM parts and bushings does not make it a build.

C32 platform came with the L24 engine, Rb20 came in the C33 medalist platform and the later generations

Not a build. Builds are fully upgraded internals, swapped transmissions, upgraded axles, etc. Bolt-ons and a tune is not a build.
