They don’t call it finished. They’re called builds for a reason it’s a car that you gradually make different upgrades modifications over time for me. You can’t expect to always 1000hp all out builds. I totally accept the Foxbody in the video. Exhaust H/C for me counts as a build

The 03 Cobra was fire! Looks like it’s from someone in the Navy, probably Norfolk, Virginia. As a Navy veteran the number one most common car I would see on base was Mustangs and you could see any varient! I miss the car culture of military bases you’ll literally see anything

Heres the thing about these GTIs, you dont need to build the motor to make crazy hp all you need is a turbo and fueling and you make 550+ whp and ur gapping boosted V8s, that's why the MQB platform is one of the go to

Drew you are wrong in my opinion. What if I upgrade my entire suspension by removing everything OEM and replacing it with after market racing parts, add some bracing, add a big brake kit, install performance headers and exhaust. get a performance tune. This is not a build?

He never said it was a "ricer" and tbh I'll admit as a golf owner, he didn't do much cosmetically. There's a lot he could've done. It wasn't a bad build by any means, but he could've added a bit more.

The first fox body is my favorite type of car. Amazingly clean, nice upgrades & didn’t destroy such an amazing car with some crazy engine that brakes down constantly. I think it’s the perfect car
Those cars that have 1000-1500hp seem to always have stuff braking & just ruin good cars for the rare occasion they race or want to fly around for a few

Really? That’s an awesome car. Period correct looking upgrades & the radio was the thing back then so really cool you put in a system. I know Drew jokes around a lot but I wouldn’t change a thing on that. I know there are cool body kits but I would leave as is and definitely wouldn’t touch the engine. It’s fast enough to enjoy and still be reliable enough. Anyways sweet ride

If I bought a wrx I'd only get a base or if wasn't more expensive I'd get the TR. It doesn't make sense to buy an sti when I would plan on changing out all the parts for upgrades. Maybe that's just me but before I bought my stinger I was looking at a few wrx's
exactly. if you're going all out, (upgrading suspension, internals, DAMN NEAR ANYTHING OR EVERYTHING) it's not ideal in my eyes to splurge on the best model, just to change it all

I'm fixing up a 1979 MGB. Did the spark plugs, put in a new ignition switch, and am going to get a retrofitted fuse box with modern blade fuses. Bought some full way tires and am waiting for the snow to melt and dry up to get them put on and balanced. Gonna be adjusting the brake shoes in the meantime.

Pretty sure the laurels came standard rb powered in some trims. I’d say that RB is the standard engine
C32 platform came with the L24 engine, Rb20 came in the C33 medalist platform and the later generations

Yo drew if a stage 2+ on my f80 m3 and only mods are full exhaust, cat delete and intake mods and i am making 800hp and 950nm of torque on a safe tune is it a build cuz i haven't touched the motor only digital engine and gearbox tune
It's a setup, rather than build. An exaust setup. An intake setup. A tune isn't a build. I got a stage 2 canned tune and a catback set up with a ram air intake, and I'd say that it isn't a build lol. But I like it, and it's fun with the zf9 transmission.

Not a build. Builds are fully upgraded internals, swapped transmissions, upgraded axles, etc. Bolt-ons and a tune is not a build.

8:37 since when do carburetors make more power? I'm pretty sure, that the ability to precicely inject fuel at theoptimal afr increases power. The only benefit of a carb is that you don'tneed to be a software engineer to tune it.

That's what stance cars basically are. Suspension, aero, and cosmetics. Lmao but at the end of the day, the build is what you're aiming for. If it doesn't take as much for your build to be complete, then that's perfectly fine in my book. Especially with it including fundamental things like brakes/suspension ect. Get it feeling right and don't overdo it.

Propperly modifing your engine is almost impossible if you life in Europe. Thoug I plan on getting cams and maybe get the head ported. But I don't have money, and the handling comes first anyways.

You don't have to touch your engine to have a build. There's so many sick build for stuff like autocross and road course racing that just have really good suspension and wheel/tire upgrades.
Sorry Drew i disagree on the have to touch the engine to be a build. What mods does the MP4 have on the Engine. I know you did exhaust work on it. But i will say right now that the MP4 is Rice lol.

You don't have to track your car for it to be considered a build. Drew was right, if your car is still making factory HP or only has an intake and maybe some exhaust work that is not a build.

Drive a GTI and youll see why people love them. Theyre fun, quick enough, handle amazing in twisty roads and even stock keeps up or pulls on most people you run into on the street. 310bhp in sub 3k pound car is plenty enough for a fun daily. I used to hate on gtis until i bought one now i love it
