hi thank you for making the test, what is the power draw before clipping ? i'm trying to buy the XH-M543 (very similar board but without the adjustment knobs) and figure out how many amp do i need at 24V, also can you check if you have the original TI chip of Chinese copy? thanx
I can't 100% say that the chip on the board is genuine but from my test the board has no trouble meeting the TPA3116D2 datasheet power rating. I also ask the seller before getting the board if it has the genuine chip, the seller replied that it has the genuine chip, the board also cost 2x compared to the cheaper boards. 1 channel Current draw for the board at full power on 4 ohms load is 2.7A so at least 6A bare minimum for 2 channels driven, but I suggest at least 10A so the power supply has spare current when driven hard and will not struggle. @@boknoynaruto3824 the Chinese clone chip is called CS8673 i think AliExpress seller usually says in the description if it's imported(real) or domestic(copy) and thanx for showing the power draw, i think i will go 2x mono board this way i can use my old laptop power supply 19v 65w
