I had a few of these trucks growing up. The bigfoot arena with the foil cars. The cardboard "arena" wasn't long for mine, but I had the ramps, cars and garage were big parts of my collection. Animal, Claw were alright but without anything for it to run over, they didn't see much use.
4:11 I literally haven't seen this thing since I was like 6 years old in 1986. I always remembered it but this is my first time seeing it since then. Crazy!
Damn I had bully, bigfoot crunch arena, animal and the stomper pull set. My gosh they definitely don't make toys fun anymore. I'm definitely glad I grew up when I did. These days parents wouldn't let their kids have toys like the claw or animal because it might give their kids nightmares or they might get their finger caught in the wheel lmao. Parents have sissified their kids and instead would rather get them tablets and smartphones. Gosh I miss the 80s and 90s so much
I cannot complain because I did ha e a good childhood, but this was always the toy that got away lol. I always wanted one but never got one. Just looked it back up for nostalgia purposes :)
The Stomper commerical with the Crimson Crusher had the Ghostbusters theme playing! WTF??!? Also, I had the 16 wheel Monster Machine one, but it paled in comparison to another one called the Giant that was longer and had a more spacey feel
The only reason this commercial stuck in my mind is because they ripped off Ghostbusters. It didn't even fit the commercial. I was looking for it today and found it here.
O,,these were the days,,lol, animal was the best,,I had two of them,,the black one and the yellow,,,stomped rocked too,I had most of these ,which means I had ,,, a most awesome childhood dude! Lol,,,Bill and Ted reference, lol
Anyone remember Bruno the Bad Dog? It was a monster truck that rolled on it's own and had a leash to walk it like a dog. When you pulled on the chain, a set of jaws at the front of the truck would pop down and it would growl.
i have a vintage pontiac firebird monster truck. it's a red third gen with a plastic air intake on the hood. it's got working headlights , multiple switches on the frame, rubber soft tires. i can't track what toy is it. do anyone have any infos?
OMG dude, that's right! holy fuck, my cousin had that. SUPER low but very wide tires that expanded into narrow but tall tires. ohh man, we would run that thing up & down the hill in his back yard with my Animal and Bigfoot. geesh... lm talking late 80's here, yea??
I literally had ALL these as a kid, thank you Mom.
Awww
Man and I didn’t even get the mom
Man talk about bringing back memories of my childhood thx mom and dad for all these wonderful toys
Awww that's sweet :)
I remember the TUFF TRAX and The CLAW, but I vaguely remember the other commercials. Awesome stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

American toys... always the best, all the kids around the world want them.
I had the claw and Bigfoot plus the crunch arena. The claw was countless hours of fun!!!

1:30 I still have this set! We just used tinfoil now to make the cars lol
Man the stompers were next level.
In that last commercial, i saw so many old school trucks that we still have today. Its a shame the Equalizer team was sold.
"Nothing can stop ... THE ANIMAL!!!"
I loved my “the animal” and now in 2020/2021 they have rereleased a version of it.
Really...
@@michaelp2952 it’s no where near as cool as the 80s one
Man I can never seam to find the P.T.O. truck with the shifter and a winch. I loved it when I was a kid.
I had that yellow Animal claw tire truck and stompers
I remember my friend got the yellow Animal the same year I got a Nikko Land Shark. Good times.

BIGFOOT CRUNCH ARENA was the best!!! But I usually never played with the foil cars and arena, I played with the truck everywhere. 🚙
I had MonsrerMachineBIG16 & Animal(red)!
these were very very Cool design & great mechanisms
Awesome!
Monster truck toys and rock crawlers are best in Radio Control these days.
There was some USHRA footage in the Tuff Trax commercial.
Great video! I still have the Stomper desperado!! (0:
Nice i also have the bully truck
I had a Animal and a BULLY 👍and the stomper track
Nothing can stop the animal because it's back
5:43 Equalizer: "Ima' head out"
The Claw and Animal trucks idea evolved into Hot Wheels Attack Pack monster trucks from the early '90s.
Also evolved into the TruckClaw recovery device for 4X4s

Omg "The Claw!"
I still have 2 stompers in their original package.
Was there ever a Lanard King Kong television commercial produced?
When commercials didn't use green screens and crap like that
I had the Claw!
BATTERIES NOT INCLUDED! !!!!!!! Worst thing on Christmas Morning. ..
Unless you have them
Parents who remembered batteries were awesome!

The animal 👍
we sure all learned that 'batteries are not included'
Don't forget Flex by Galoob!
OMG dude, that's right! holy fuck, my cousin had that.

Su década y mía se fueron arriba de lo popular crearon una caricatura enfocada para los niños de la vida y emoción al máximo ("mach 5")
👍🇧🇷
I used to have one that competes with the animal; when it got stuck; the tires got taller… can’t find the name
It was called FLEX. ua-cam.com/video/1EWVtxZiGeA/v-deo.html
