I am so hyped for the Lonesome Dove collaboration you are doing. Lonesome Dove is my favorite Western to date and I am excited to hear all of your thoughts early next year
You are always so encouraging & welcoming, really enjoy your energy & intelligence, very engaging. That Leong cover is so delightful, wonderful use of colour, might buy this if only for the cover. Thanks for another wonderful video - very enjoyable.
Super cool! I also have Lonesome Dove on my TBR! I’m planning on reading it within the next couple months. Great video as always and I’m looking forward to the 2025 sneak peak!
@@OddOdieOnline Thanks, man! It seems Lonesome Dove is growing back in popularity these days. I’m excited for it. Yeah, I’m pretty pumped about my 2025 plans. Hope to get that up soon.
Honestly The Bachman Books collection deserves individual reviews, or at least the first two, Rage and The Long Walk. Great tag video can’t wait for Lonesome Dove that’s been on my tbr for sometime.
Nice answers. I'm not terribly concerned with new releases either. Oh, I still read some new nonfiction that's recommended by people who know my interests, but when it comes to fiction, I find that the older I get, the more I stick to whatever gems manage to survive time's cruel. cruel ravages. Let the chaff shatter and be blown away on the wind where it won't waste my time. 😁 Enjoy the remainder of the reading year.
@@JG-hr8rl That’s very encouraging. I’ve never been into westerns either but have always been curious about this one due to its extremely favorable popularity. Makes me look forward even more to the buddy read I’ll be doing with this in January.
Nice answers Trav and yes, we’re reading Lonesome Dove. Nope, you’re my first tag for this, thank you sir! 5 hrs lol….i sure hope not. I will work on this buddy, more to come.
@@kevintowle9665 😂😂 Sorry, you know I couldn’t resist the 5 hour retort. I’m still surprised nobody else tagged you given that you’re truly a huge, influential presence within our community and this tag seems to be pretty popular right now. I actually feel honored now lol. And I’m still looking forward to Lonesome Dove!
That was the coolest recommendation to date I really appreciate it!
@@Already-Overbooked Absolutely you’re welcome!

@@Already-Overbooked Yeah I’m excited for it. It’s something new for me both in genre and in content
@@TravsbookshelfI second this. I just read it and am interested in yalls thoughts.
Good list. A bunch of things I'll have to add to my TBR.
Loved these answers!!! Knew tagging you was the absolutely correct decision! And thanks for such a kind shoutout!
@@DrL_Reads Doctor, kindness will always be in a shoutout for you. And I appreciate your assessment of me, sir, so thank you in kind.

Thank you for the compliments. I agree about the Leong cover and I’m not usually into covers much.

Lonesome dove hands down best book I read this year top 3 all time, and I’ve never been into westerns
