Like the way he always looked at her. He even said the “entire time”. But I know the books and Hardin say the second party and the stream. Idk just feel like I can’t be the only one who noticed there was something for her from FIRST eye sight in the movie in the bedroom when he looks at her and opens his mouth with shock it seemed like and kept always looking at her at the coffee shop and the party??? Did he really the whole time or just fighting it or not understanding what it was he was feeling infatuated with her / signals like you said? Honest question. Haven’t finished all the books yet.

In my opinion, this is one of the best romance movies. I haven't read the books so, I was not expecting the bet. The acting and onscreen chemistry between Jo and Hero was impressive. I have watched it several times on Netflix and cant remember another movie that I've done that. Nice edit!

From that day he annoyed her teased her and made her angry just so he could be around her he was infatuated with her but being hardin he didn't admit it. He knew the bet was fucked up but if that was the only way to spend time with her he did she was a challenge and he wanted her anyway she allowed him to be. He wanted to know more was she really as fucked up as he was, did this girl really have a mess of a life like he did. Throughout the bet he knew it was wrong but he wanted her then the lake happened and from then he couldn't stop he wanted her he needed her he was the only one that was going to feel her that way. "Noone has made you feel the way I can tell the way your pulse quickens the blood under your skin that feeling down there" "noone could make her feel the way I can.. "the dorm the apartment that was a way for him to keep her safe in his bubble so she wouldn't leave him if she left he would die. When he realised he loved her he knew he couldn't lose her he had to make sure she never knew how fucked up he really was and he was desperate he hid her from the truth cause he knew she would eventually leave. He was hers and she was his. He was the fire and she was the gasoline! Whatever our souls are made of hers and mine are the same...

Juliette this was taken from a chapter in the the last book it was Hardin’s POV on the events in the first book so you could say it was sort of the first book just Hardin’s POV. It proved without a doubt that he cared for her before the bet even happened. Something was special and intriguing about her all I’m going to say is the book is much more detailed than the movie. The whole series be prepared for a bloody roller coaster of emotions sad happy angry puzzled any emotion you can think of it’s in the series. Be prepared to laugh so much you cry and literally nearly pee your pants and cry so much you laugh cause you seem like your being ridiculous. I have a love hate relationship with all the charcters especially Hardin and Tessa and it changes every book. One minute I’m disgusted with Hardin and then my heart is literally breaking in the next chapter I’m hating him and then loving him and feeling sorry for him and Tessa well say one minute I love her the next I don’t like her and then sometimes I’m disgusted with her behaviour but I’m the next chapter I feel sorry for her like I said love hate. I’ll say one thing they both need to grow up a hell of a lot. And their relationship and story is messy but beautiful. The one thing I loved about the journey it was real and very relatable.
