  • Quick update, I got the ground loops connected to the dual encoder and single encoder rotary switches. Need to finish the connections for the LED’s on the push button switches and the blue LED’s for the panel back ground illumination. Then all the signal wires will get connected to every switch.

Would it be possible for you to describe how the video portion of the G1000 get connected from the display all the way to the computer. Same with the buttons, etc. I am new to this SIM build stuff and I can't seem to get any good information on how all the panel equipment is wired / connected to the computer from start to finish. Any help would be appreciated.

When in Microsoft flight sim. All you do is press the right side keyboard Alt button and left click on the mouse when the mouse pointer is in the screen of the Garmin in the flight sim. That will copy the image to the new flight sim box. Keep in mind that your computer video card is going to need at least two video output connections one for the main monitor and one for the sim box. Two sim boxes then three video outputs needed in the computer video card.
