Thank you so much for this video! My friend recently got the ME-80 and there are quite a few things we still haven't been able to figure out. This video is so helpful. Thanks again! :)
Thanks so much for explaining how manual mode works that allows you to retain the settings of memory mode. The first demo I would see dealing with that. I feel relieved while awaiting the delivery of my boss me 80. Good job.
Thank you for the tutorial! How do I bypass everything and make the guitar sound as it is originally, without any processing? Like bypass mode? How do I do that?
Troy - I completely agree. Boss leaving out their power supplies drives me nuts. I never buy their own supplies to spite them - I buy good quality 3rd party psa units.
Hello can you do a Full video demo also for the CTL button ?Like you do have in the video kicking in the Comp with the Delay only with the CTL button thank you.
Thats awesome brother, thanks. I wish the manual described it remotely as well as you did, in fact even after watching the video here and doing it on my own and it working, then looking at the manual, the manual still doesn't make sense to me on that! It never had before of course and I had it for a year and it was driving me nuts that one had to bend down and hit edit to turn on and off certain effects. Now I (anyone) only have to hit edit to change effect parameters. Before now, because I turn effects on and off a lot LIVE, I left it in manual mode because I found it so frustrating, now I can easily enough start using presets LIVE... loving it. Also the Control function setting to turn off multiple effects at once sure saves a lot of messing around, now there's rhythm and solo settings on the step of one button, not 2 or even 3 ; boom and done That doubles my preset song potentials (as opposed to one song needing 2 presets; one for rhythm, and one for solo) I had understood that before but it didn't matter since I bailed on using presets LIVE due to the edit hassle issue I was having. so thanks a ton
It's a good video. But I have a one question, How can I make again same like a before. Because I fixed now like a video showing in the same way. Now I do not want to do so how can I make same like before again. Please..
I can’t start mine up it’s turned on I’ve got two guitar cables one cable from L mono to input on amp but where does my guitar cable go ? So confused ?
Thank you so much for this, specifically the portion at 2m 11s. The manual does not address this and I was searching the web in the hope that this very option existed. I rec'd my ME-80 used from a friend who barely touched it, so I assume that the unit came from the factory with that setting as the default (meaning the manual mode reflects the last saved setup, not your current preset). Why for the life of me they made that the factory preset is beyond me. Now I need to watch the rest of the video in case there are other hidden options!
Hi Guys, Does anyone know how to keep the volume levels the same when setting a different patch or preset? Im finding that every unique patch or preset i assign to each pedal (memory mode) the volume levels arent the same this obviously will be a problem when gigging. Cheers
ME-80 hands down bro, if not the 100, I love the 80 yet now wish Id gotten the 100 The more you spend the better it is (usually) unless one buys something with a ton of not great things. Less things of higher quality is better than lots of things with low quality. ''Quality over quantity''
I think you have to use this tip by making it keep all the settings from your patch so they don't change then click to manual mode & you will be able to phrase loop it
Figured out how to access factory patches, it isn't really spelled out in the manual. Took 5 minutes to review the patches, cleans ok , distortion sounds like angry bees. Sending back.... Millions in research and they still can't load a machine with useable presets.
I have this pos in front of me , nothing makes any sense, even watching you , the display didn't change when you changed patches. My power supplys won't turn this thing on either. the manual doesn't even tell you anything about the 'power requirements' other than use their pos transformer and that it draws 200ma. Batteries are going to be fun. Sat in front of this thing for 10 minutes, can't even determine how to call up factory patches.Grrrr....
I am getting 1 of these units tomorrow. After useing pedals for years. This will be my first processor. I am in for a lot of pulling my hair out I suppose. But you got to start somewhere. Sure hope things got better and understanding for you over time having this prosessor.
be honest i own this and not really impressed the sounds u get from it are generic and very digital the individual pedals boss makes have better controls and sound. Unless I am not using it right this to me just sounds really crappy in my rig compare to my roland and tc electronic gear this is very noob
We need a tutorial on the comp section of the ME80. I learn something every time I watch these videos. Best tutorials on the internet.
Give me an understanding on intro on the me80. V.G.

Great tutorial -- Exactly what I was looking for..going from Memory to Manual and retaining Memory settings. Thanks!
Hi thanks for the video, can you please do a video on step by step on downloading the patches from artists in the bosstonecentral to the me80. thanks

Thanks, this was confounding me.
good video,I have a question how can I erase the patch in the memory pedal?

Very nice video thanks. Is it possible to use the phrase loop while in memory mode? When I try it does not work

Is it possible to set a volume limit on the expression pedal.? For example set a limit of 50.. versus it going down to 0?
how do you edit the paramaters on 'ctl' ?
Did you found the way?
It's a good video. But I have a one question, How can I make again same like a before. Because I fixed now like a video showing in the same way. Now I do not want to do so how can I make same like before again. Please..
Can you do a video on how to do the loop mode. plz
Can you please make a demo of AC SIM and HARMONIST on ME-80?
I can’t start mine up it’s turned on I’ve got two guitar cables one cable from L mono to input on amp but where does my guitar cable go ? So confused ?

hi, what is the most different of me 80 and gt 100? and which one

I think the manual addresses it. Check the page on Making Global Settings (System Settings). I think it's on page 18 or so
Good explanation, but it is not clear if you can use the manual mode on the patch you programmed, or to any patch, since only patch 3 was used.
It's a global setting so will work with all the patches....

help! I do not know whether to buy the ME25 or ME80 , are $ 100 difference , is it worth ?
I'd go for the ME80 as there are loads more sounds included
Get the ME80. You're buying tons more effects for the cost of a single pedal. I wish I had purchased mine before I built my pedal board.
ME-80 hands down bro, if not the 100, I love the 80 yet now wish Id gotten the 100

Great video, but Help still needed.... How do you phrase loop you're own patches. Anyone? :)

Thank You So Much
Thanks super usefull!!

Geee Wzzz. I just bought one yesterday. I can't figure out how to bring up the presets. Any assistance from you would be much appreciated.
