This was definitely great, and I can’t wait to see Ash’s true power on Pasio. I'm going to assume that Ash is from an AU because he ended up on Pasio as he was training for the Master's 8 with his Galar team. Continuity with the anime would mean that Iris, Leon and other champs and trainers WOULD know him; but if each player is just starting out their journeys (Barry and the like), then AU is definitely a possibility (considering that Giovanni and Old Man Grimsley are there too).
We don't hate ash for being a moron, we hate ash because is being made to be a moron even though he could have already been the "very best, like no one ever was" with the amount of exp he should have under his belt
There's still a possibility that Ash won't be playable no matter how tiny that possibility is, but if he does become playable, I'm pairing him up with Serena and Zygarde immediately. And yes, loud and proud Amourshipper here

I don't think that's something new. Look at Kris, for instance, she has the former art style Sugimori used until Ruby and Sapphire. Others share different art styles as well, such as Victor and Gloria. I wonder how will they model those characters from Scarlet and Violet, should DeNa workers start adding Paldea Pairs.

Masters is sort of canon it just takes place after every single game and thanks to Arceus and origin trio it doesn't matter every character is post game so ash may be still on an infinite journey but hey he's uhmmm here
Now that they completely ditched him in the show, I just wish they'd release a proper game where you can play as Ash and meet Team Rocket and the other cast, all fully voiced by their original VA's. (by "proper game" I don't mean the occasional cameo in some free 2 play phone game lol)

By it's Bio it's confirmed to be anime Ash, he was pulled in some point of the recent episodes before the start of the Masters 8 Tournament
