I learned SO MUCH from this!! I realized that I need to start working with my pastels a lot more and stop fighting with the colored pencils for hours and not getting close to the soft blending you see with pastels. I knew this, but this tutorial really showed me HOW to work with them. This is going to bring my art forward leaps and bounds with absolutely beautiful soft results. The way the structure of the face was made with the V on the bottom was so much better than the way other teachings have shown and it's so much easier that way. The hair....the HAIR! What a fantastic way to do it with the blending and the charcoal and some brown pastel toblend in the color. I'm excited to try a lot of these, the lips towards the end with the one line and then the blended out pastel with a brush. It all worked so well (that's what tutorials do) but this video makes me feel like I can actually become good with just a little practice. Thank you so much. New sub here.
