Sir! This trick (to push the pump up by pushung the car front down) is - let me say this in German: das ist dermaßen genial, so unorthodox und überraschend einfach, dass ich es zuerst nicht verstanden habe. Thank you! I can hardly wait for my pump to become defective again.
@1:11 "and the cover is off' @1:20 'the water pump is out' What did i miss? Oh, well, the complete removing of the water pump.. Seems like pretty important step to me :-) You only show the gastket and the heater core seal, but there are two more seals on the waterpump! In the end, you managed to put the pulley back with the belt on it without loosening the belt? ... Having said that, i like your tip with the wood blocks and i do like your channel!
Well. I was in the middle of the job when it came to me that I can share the idea of the wooden stick push up. As you can see the first part is from my other video where I adjust valves on B230 FT. I wanted to show that you have to remove the timing belt cover to remove the pump. For the gaskets and seals. There are two rubber seals on the B230 F engine. One to the heater core pipe and the other on the top of the pump pressed to the engine head. Both are shown in the video. For the gasket. There is one that goes between the pump and the engine block. It is shown in the video as well. For the belt and pulley. Yes. it is pain in the @$$ to move the steering pump, so I cheated a little bit. For the channel. I like that you like the channel.
Dziękuje
Excellent video! Thank you.
You are welcome!
