  • My tour in Iraq with UA-camr Doug Barnard continues. We start the day at the mysterious Ziggurat of Borsippa where we find ancient tablets on the ground. We continue to visit the ancient city of Babylon and visit Saddam's palace where we eat a delicious meal in the abandoned building. We finish the day in Karbala, exploring the beautiful shrines and lights of the city.

Our local Iraqi guide, Hussein, was incredible. If you need a guide in Iraq, contact him.

Iraq is definitely worth a trip if you get the chance. I only have a very basic knowledge of the ancient history of the region, other than a basic understanding of Islam. I definitely need to read more about it.
