- My tour in Iraq with UA-camr Doug Barnard continues. We start the day at the mysterious Ziggurat of Borsippa where we find ancient tablets on the ground. We continue to visit the ancient city of Babylon and visit Saddam's palace where we eat a delicious meal in the abandoned building. We finish the day in Karbala, exploring the beautiful shrines and lights of the city.

Iraq is definitely worth a trip if you get the chance. I only have a very basic knowledge of the ancient history of the region, other than a basic understanding of Islam. I definitely need to read more about it.

How much was the food and other things there?
Our food was all provided by the tour, but food was generally very affordable there
you should go to umm qasr currently a massive protest is going on over there
I'm home in the US now, but I hope to visit Iraq again in the near future.

Nah not worth it. Very unsafe, nothing worthwhile over there.
My family and friends thought I was crazy for going. I had a great time, but definitely not for everyone.
