The Plot should be about Maribel and how she was in Bruno's visions like in the first movie of how she thought that the house is breaking and seeing her as a young mature person she is and seeing her growing into a wonderful person she is and see the challenges she will face when her family lost their magical gifts and to see the happiness in her family that can support her Journey into a young adult she is. And seeing the Family be better role models to the main characters flawless and hard times and seeing a Hispanic drama sides of how Maribel is having difficulties with her family and on herself when going through life. And see a Hispanic Battle that makes the house full of Magic powers.

Since they didn’t all get there time to shine since there were too many characters I would like to see some of the side characters from the family get more screen time and it would be better if they just keep the characters they already got and have it an actual sequel instead of a prequel and some people wonder if it now safe outside there home is the raid over?

I’m Columbian which is why this movie so much to me. I can’t wait for it to become a true series.
I would like to see the opposite of Camilo/Carlos and their 2 female forms.
This may provide a bit of a Frozen II vibe, but I personally would much rather Encanto II focus on an 18-year-old Mirabel as she learns that not just the magic, but the whole Encanto, is faltering due to Abuela’s failing health, so she, along with Isabela and Luisa, travels to an ancient realm where the magic originated to find out why she was denied a magical gift in order to save their hometown.
.if you watched the cartoon more carefully, you would understand one hundred Mirabelle Abuella's heiress and the next head of the house, this was shown at the end of the film and the filmmakers talked about it. Mirabelle was originally not supposed to have magic like Abuella 🤷 She is the next head of the family after Abuella

Mirabelle shouldn't have any other magic, otherwise the cartoon makes no sense. She was accepted as she is, without much magic

Mirabelle has powers, the house seems to responds to her just as if she’ll have the same powers Ambella/the granny has
I don’t think Pedro is dead. Abuela only said he was “lost”. So there’s a chance that he was only captured and enslaved. The next story, in my theory is going to start with Bruno, having a vision that his father is still alive. And they have to rescue him. This is where we’ll see more of the family’s magic. And also see if their powers work outside of the village. Also I think the story somewhat would focus on Abuela training Mirabel as the next family matriarch. The rescue mission story would be a great plot to follow more of Mirabel and the family.

Since the first movie involved Mirabel saving the magic by helping her sisters, perhaps the next movie should involve helping her cousins, especially Dolores and Camilo. Mirabel has already helped Antonio by giving him the courage to go through with the ceremony.
As for Mirabel's gift, perhaps with Dolores having children with Mariano, and how Mirabel helped Antonio get his gift, perhaps everyone will discover her gift is to figure out the next generation's gifts. She will somehow know who will be able to do what.

I thought there wasn't gonna be a sequel to this movie.
Another movie I want to see get a sequel or TV series is Turning Red. But I’d also like to see Encanto get a TV series too.

I doubt. Elsa lives somewhere in the 1840s, Encanto somewhere in the 1950s (but technology in Encanto remains for 50 years)

I want to see the sequel focus Abeula grooming Mirabelle for leadership of the family. I think by now its clear Mirabelle didn’t get a gift because her role was meant to be similar to Abeula’s. She’s supposed to be the inheritor of the encanto itself. The first movie was about Abeula and Mirabelle resolving their differences. The second I think it would be fitting to explore what it takes to step into big shoes that need filling.
