Great video Mike , visited Norwich in June and had to wait for low tide on a hire boat broom 35 at that railway bridge , it’s quite concerning the height of water on the broads these days , A loch at great Yarmouth maybe needed before the hole area becomes a lake 😢
Hi Gavin. I think it's because although summer was nice, it was only 5/6 weeks long this year so didn't have enough time to lower last winters water levels. We've started this winter with last years levels still here. This is why I struggled to get under Ludham bridge all summer this year. We are going to need a long, hot, drought of a summer next year to get it back to normal.
Great upload - I do like the colours with the changing of the season - not looking god with water levels though... again! Good to see FN still afloat!!!
Hi mate. Yes, we do love the colours as well. The bridge came as no surprise though, the water was high before we even set off. To windy for any drone shots so had to make do. Friday night is sitting there quite happily, always give a quick look over as we go past. Just watched your boat show upload, very good. See you soon.

Great video again Mike, thanks for responding to my question about double galzed windows and recommending that I use a dehumidifier to help with the condensation. Which dehumidifier do you have? Is it a 12 volt? Can you recommend one ?
Hi Mike. My one is 240 volt so I can only have it on whilst on shore power. This has not really been a problem because condensation is only really an issue over a longer time period when on the boat. I find it takes a few days before it needs drying out by which time we have got onto a mooring somewhere with shore power. My one is the compressor type which is OK most of the time but can freeze up and stop working at low temperatures. The ones recommended for marine use are the desiccant ones, they use a hydroscopic substance rather than a compressor. They will work at much lower temps. Hi Mike. I am with Navigators and general. We started with them when we got this boat around five years ago. At the time they did what was called a self survey. It was. just a big list of questions that you had to fill out. Not sure if that is still the case though.
