Wow, I didn't expect to find animated caecilians anywhere!
Nature has the coolest and most diverse life ever
Really glad to see this finally posted so my fellow classmates and I can show family and friends. It took a while and many all-nighters from some really dedicated people made this fun upbeat music video possible. We did it guys! That's a wrap!
Liz Weldon hi liz, i wrote the song for this video and i was floored when i saw what you and your classmates had done with the song. thanks so much! you did an amazing job. if you ever need music for a future project just let me know. i would be happy to contribute. thanks again! twt
I had the pleasure of working on this project, and I got to model and rig the Caecilian Scientist character, and that was quite the interesting challenge! Thank you for posting the finished video for the world to see! My classmates and I worked very hard on this and it's great to see it!
Weston Bahr thanks so much for making this video. my 2yo son adores it.
You're very welcome! Im glad he enjoys it!
@@cesshyrodriguez23 you know they aren’t the creators of the name of it and people probably won’t change the name since it’s the name of the amphibian already so yeah you will just have to deal with it
I've been watching the film for several years, sending it to friends, and everyone is loving it. This video will probably go around the world soon. I also really like the little yellow caecilian at the end of the cotillion. Thank you so much!
This was surprisingly good and I'm glad to know this exists
Nobody:
My last brain cells at 3 AM: Caecilian Cotillion
My experience exactly! XD
I can relate
As a person who likes herpetology, same brother, same.
Fun fact: At my high school, I've got this kind of science class, which is called "living environment," but it's just science with much more boring lessons. Anyway, my teacher has this weekly thing where we get to show a video to the class. As a matter of fact, I'm the only one who's ever submitted a video every Friday, which was cool 'cause there was no contest. On that note, I *was* planning to show this video to everyone last Friday- I mean, why wouldn't I? -but I was too late. According to my teacher, "We stopped doing that last week." :'( Eh, there's always next year.
I'm a herpetologist and I've been listening to this for yeeeaars. Doesn't get old
I just found this video and i memorized the lyrics already lol
This is adorable! I actually have 5 pet land caecillians. They're the deep grayish/purple blue color! They're really very unique and interesting.
I have been looking for land caecilians for a while now. Do you know any suppliers or stores selling them? Any info helps.
My grade 2 students loved the video, I showed them when we were studying about amphibians.
I had to watch this for science and i replayed it 3 times and liked it
Why is this song so fucking catchy
This is brilliant
I'm so happy this exists

I watched this at herpetology camp :)
These are under the
Phylum : Chordata
Subphylum : Vertebrata
Class: Amphibia
Order: Gymnophiona or, LEGLESS SALAMANDERS; “Caecilians”
WTF! this is fking awesome!!! ♥ XD
ok
Hmmmm
Slight nitpick, square-chi is pronounced "square-kai". Greek does not have a "chuh" sound.
NAKED SNAKED
Just a long blind salamander
Wtf
Дурне відео , я дивилася і краші. !
Cringe and far from educational. Why make them behave like humans at all? Anthropomorphic imagery is the most counterintuitive way to teach nature and sets us more apart from nature.
Cringe comment dude
