What are your thoughts on the new Vampire Ultimate, Skills and Passives?
Hack The Minotaur I'm ngl I'm really unimpressed, the damage looks pretty awful, the redone passives imo are way worse than the original... 20% additional cost to regular abilities??? Plus people run new moon so that's 30% increased total cost?? Ummm yeah vampire is going to be dropped by so many people in this patch, the patch that was meant to make people proud to be vampires. Unimpressed with the vampire lord look as well, literally is retextured Goliath :/// the health cost of that buff looks way to high to actually be useful in anything other than pve with a dedicated healer unless you're a stamsorc running briarheart and Critsurge. I honestly just think this vampire update is trash and other than the updated visuals I can't find a good thing to say about it :((( which is sad because I really wanted vampires to be a good class in itself but now their usage is about to drop DRAMATICALLY
Do you think that with the passives and sets and changes, Hybrid builds could utilize Vamp skill lines in PvP? Specifically BGs.
Also the skills that require health to use seem to just put you quickly into execute range, are the cost shown at Stage 4 vamp?
Seems unlikely to be effective in higher end BGs
@@tantrumtv4270 It's even worse, "while toggled on, you cannot be healed by anyone but yourself" so even "in pve with a dedicated healer" it's still crappy.
every skill is meh and can be done better by other skills.
~ First one the claw is a crappy veiled strike without the armor shred / stealth speed and stun just for the 50% based on missing health.
~ The buff makes it so you can't be healed by anyone else, the cost is very high, the buff is nice but not worth all the downsides.
~ The drain is a shitty missing health heal for a 3s channel (asking to be bashed with all the negative consequences), the sustain in stamina or ult is way too low for all the downsides, recover 5% stamina/s for a 20% increase in all stamina skills ? you are better off poping a HoT and doing a heavy attack.
~ The CC skill is pretty nice for pvp and for classes that don't have access to one, i'd still rather use something like streak that has many other uses with way less downsides. That is a very expensive opportunity cost CC if you go vamp just for this.
~ Mist form is again overall pretty meh and potentialy kinda usefull only for some builds that have 0 other escape/defensives, can't heal, can't be healed, can't regen magicka, 75% damage mitigation, dmg form does abysmal dmg and heal, speed form... you aren't really going to escape anything just with a 30% speed boost but can be usefull to slow down the tempo to allow for allies to arrive etc, still the same potential uses as before which isn't bad but now with a very hefty cost with all the downsides of being a vampire. Overall it's just worse than before now.
Tldr: all the actives are rather meh to bad in most cases and not worth all the massive negatives associated to either vamp form new debuffs or the skills themselves.
For the passives, kinda the same:
~ Feed: Cool animation and rp but just make you have to work to maintain your vamp instead of doing nothing, 4hr ain't too bad so it really doesn't do anything other than being a rp thing.
The new vamp debuff are MASSIVE though, 40% cost reduction for vamp skills only, cool but good luck making a vamp only skills build aside from RP.
-100% hp regen
+20% fire dmg received
+20% cost on ALL non vamp skills (YIKES)
-40% vamp skills cost (NOT WORTH IT)
~ Ritual: same, does nothing for us, just a rp thing to bite someone once a week (i always give bites for free and even for people that get some money out of it unless you waste time trying to rinse someone it's usualy what, 5-10k every 7day ? yay...)
~ Dark stalker: Nice change, unless you go all out on a sneak build it's more or less just a nice little rp/QoL thing for most people.
~ Strike from the shadows: Nice little buff. But are you gonna "weave" mist form to maintain that... ? very good for some NB build that cloak a lot in combat, aside from that it's mostly just a little buff for 6s if you bother to start the fight from sneak.
~ Undeath: Very good, same as before. But requires vamp 3 that sucks a lot more than before.
~ Unnatural movement: Very cool looking, limited utility in most realistic situations as in most case you are using sneak to stay out of combat or if you are in combat and need to bail you would only use it when you already got away with something else like shade, cloak or streak (that will now cost 20% more making it harder to escape to begin with) or you'll have a hard time getting away just with a stealth that activates after 3s of sprint, can be very nice in the right situation though like streak twice and then sprint away into stealth but you prob either got chased down by other sorcs or got to just go around a rock/tree and sneak before anyway. Overall nice, would be nicer if we kept the stealth for 1-2s after the end of the sprint.
BUT it requires stage 4 with all the MASSIVE debuffs...
Overall either i'm completely missing some super secret op use for all this or it seems like the cons massively outweigh the pros in just about every way shape or form...
Makes me very disapointed and sad as i really like to be vamp for flavor and usualy always go vamp even with all the downsides in the past version but it looks to be just way too harsh for very little gimmicky benefits in this new form...
@@tantrumtv4270 they were so worried about making it look cool they forgot to make it useful
Ashkandye yeah man, it's even worse than I mentioned, I can't believe they thought this was a buff to the vampire skill line, it's such a massive nerf it's actually unreal
The ability costs are ridiculous. I know people say that it's to encourage you to commit to being a vampire but if that's the route they wanted to go, then they needed to add a lot more abilities because *not everyone playing the fucking game is a DPS role* Why would you make tanking and healing more expensive but provide no vampiric alternatives?
If there were more vampires than werewolves in ESO it's because it was actually compatible with all three roles, but I guess it's being changed to, "DPS or GTFO" also.
And people wonder why these games always have a shortage of non-DPS players.
I sure hope you're right. because as it is I think vampires are already too common. If it discourages some people from becoming one, that's a good thing IMO.
Nerfing something because it's too OP is one thing. Nerfing it just because it's popular is something else. If players like something, find out *why* they like it and see if it can be applied to other areas of the game (i.e. Don't make Werewolf so limited, give people a reason to stay mortal, etc). Don't just take the good thing and keep breaking it until it's as equally shitty as the other options that people obviously don't enjoy as much.
Vampire is now better for tanks and people who spec into health not good for dps
@kcolGeM
I know there are moves that use health, but nothing I'm seeing from these skills or hearing from PTS feedback suggests that they're good for actual *tanking* (not tanks doing overland content)
@EccentricSage Nah, getting vampirism is somewhat of a PITA so not everyone is a vampire but in most builds being a vampire was recommended. This change is going to make being a vampire in ESO a lot more about being a vampire and a lot less about buffing your class. There are going to be some synergies with some classes that might work for some builds, but vampire will stop being the "oh yeah and as per usual you should be a vampire." Might be the first time ever some people actually choose to get healed because it is not going to work for everyone, that is a good thing. Not everyone and their dog should want to be a vampire because it is just always better. Being a vampire SHOULD be a niche playstyle, not a universal positive buff for every build.
That cost increase for other abilities is a bit much.
You either run vamp skills or nothing at all. This will essentially kill being a vampire for most players since if you don't play to its strengths then it's a hindrance which is utter bs
@@newnamesameperson397 A real vampiric curse
@@ricoambro Erm... in the single player elder scrolls games , vampires were not hindered from using magic spells at all , sure they came with drawbacks like sun damage and all that stuff which we have , but Vampires ALWAYS had magic affinity , and this cost increase is against all of that , so no .
@@baelzaden530 i was joking fam, thought u'd notice. Ofcourse i know how they were and should be dafuq
@@baelzaden530 LOL that was basically eso vamp too until this.
I saw that we can turn into a Vampire Monster: I was like YEAH BUDDY! -Then I saw what the skills do: I stopped 👀
I know this is old, but I'm new to your channel, and I needed advice.
Watching this helped me figure out what morphs to take on a few of my skills.
Also, I'm a Necro/vamp, which I feel synergizes well together, and makes for a cool RP.
Thank you.✌🏼
You're my favourite ESO youtuber! Always bringing cool new stuff!
Great preview, thanks :)
The normal abilities cost increase per stage fucks this all up.
Madao Maybe but You have to remember using that Ult removes the potential to use any other burst or DOT ult. I main necromancer, and I know for a fact I’m not getting rid of my colossus, a large increase to my dps, just to avoid The penalties for playing as what I wanna play. The vampire ult is not useful except for saving yourself in dire times due to the immediate heal to full, and The bat dot is cool but not enough dps since it’s part of the ult and not an applied skill. So... an ult that at the end of the day is only useful for saving yourself, some nice abilities (I am for sure using that stun on my necro and getting rid of bone totem) , and Penalties for being a max ranked vampire that make you not wanna even play as one.. this is a nerf with new toys, and it’s sad.
Madao I agree
Yeah well there were too many vamps running around due to not having any downside. Now you do, quit bitching because you can no longer be OP and the game will actually be more fair.
Gandalf The Grey You act like this makes vampires OP or that they were OP before? Don’t fucking talk that way unless you wanna be talked to the same way. Vampires were not OP. Were there a sizeable amount? Sure. But what you fail to realize is this update will merely make vampires look cooler, create a little bit of funny stuff for tanks, but in the end hurts vampire play styles because the number one reason most people played vamp was for the passives. What’s wrong with that? It didn’t make ppl OP and just gave a tiny bit of Resources in return for some cons. There should be no drawbacks for playing the way you wanna play.
@Madao Not ever Vampire player is a Necromancer...
Great work! Now we need a test build with new vampire :)
the ultimate lasting a lot longer is not a bug
Bastion Sanguinaris: Towering architecture, views to die (or kill) for, and a secret passage number among the many features of this striking Blackreach edifice, which stands within easy reach of Greymoor Keep. Vampires can maintain their Blood Scion transformation indefinitely in this home.
@@MyouKyuubi 20 seconds iirc
regular ability cost increase is absurd. It doesn't even thematically make sense as a vampire drawback. Should be changed to something else entirely
Keep up the good Work and i´m hyped for new Vampire and Werewolfe Builds !
Thank your for the no-nonsense summary of the skills.
That last passive... holy shit! so hyped!
Thank you!!!
congrats u got a new sub really like the simplicity
It seems like Vampire is becoming a much more active skill line, but at the same time many of the passives that people currently have the skill line for in the first place are being removed or nerfed. The devs apparently want people to actually play a dedicated vampire rather than just get the skill line for the regen bonuses for general buffs. I'm not sure how this will play out, I don't see many people really wanting to play a dedicated vampire as the skills have a lot of downsides, but time will tell.
Aaron Pillar I think if the Undeath passive is available at stage 1 vampirism, it could still be a viable skill-line for most current set-ups.
Rip my Vampire tank.. literally the only character i really played
All in all I think the skills seem pretty cool. I would like to see a demonstration in combat. It seems like you could synergise the abilities well if you choose the right morphs that heal to be used along with the skills that cost health.
They need to rethink the normal ability cost when at higher stages seems abit much.
Amen!
There has to be a downside.. or else you would be forced to be a vamp. You can choose to stay at stage 1 and have close to normal costs
@@attinger117 Its still expensive af.
@@attinger117 ITS a HUGE downside. On top of added fire damage, almost zero health recovery, and a huge debuff on Magicka cost? Non of this is worth it.
@@attinger117 Vampire USED to be about keeping sustain up while getting hit harder. That was an okay trade off, now it's just "hey lemme kill myself while doing a little extra damage"
This looks awesome finally a vampire skill line and stages in elder scrolls that make sense
Wow, I'm really looking forward how to mix this with my Necromancer! Ty for such a good informative video! ^^
I was a bit disappointed that the cool shadowy wings were missing...me hoping its a PTS thing and they are added later! (fingerscross!)
God how I wish there was a way your afflicted condition change the look and FX of your current classs powers even if it was just a cosmetic look! Ah, one can dream and I know its a lot of work, all and all I really happy with how it looks!
DONT. Trust me. Necro vamps are dead
Some of the effects, especially the Mesmerize and Vampire Drain, look BEAUTIFUL, don’t get me wrong, and I’m a bit on the meh side on the Scion appearance (really wanted some wings but whatever) but my overall concern is the increase on class abilities and how well vampire skills/passives sync with other classes.
So far, I it looks pretty fun, and like you said this IS the first week of PTS so let’s see how it goes
All if the Skills are SHIT, and You're crying about the Designs? Lolz that's what is killing this game. Looks over Performance.
Chi Sasa Who said I was crying? I’m a bit neutral is all, and I was gonna try it out for myself. You’re the one getting “Triggered” from a difference of... what’s the word I’m looking for... oh yeah, A DIFFERENCE OF OPINION. Not to mention this is only THE FIRST WEEK of freaking PTS. You good traveler need to calm your horkers.
You do however have a fair point though, most of the skills leave really do leave a lot to be desired.
@@evanparks4123 They're really pushing the vamp abilities which makes it a tough subject. Everything would be fine if our regular abilities cost quite a bit less extra, lets say only 10% more. That'd be great
Rico Ambrosio True.
How does vampire drain look beautiful? The morphs look like you're sucking pee and mountain dew out of people. For a spell called 'vampiric drain', I would of thought it would be more red.
That cost increase is ruining it completely. Well, I have missed how my character looks when not vampire cause don't think Vampire is worth it now
Have you guys seen any tests? Lol vampires are hitting 120-130k on the trial dummy lolol they are so strong right now
Draconarius
^
Brian B But what about in pvp? 1v1’s? They will get fucked up because non vamps don’t have to worry about shitty penalties
*SHIT IS AMAZING ON A MAX HEALTH SORCERER TANK*
@@worldpieceofmind2965 thats what my vamp tank is lmao power/crit surge and the new absorb skill is gonna make her that much harder to kill lmao and shes running Plague dr and necropotence as a pet sorc tank
Keep up the awesome work man!
that sprint passive with cowards set seems like a great travel form other then mount, full medium, wit dat and cowards gon be zoomin and mobs can't see you :D
Lookin forward to your nightblade vamp build😉
Big difference from when I/My Character was a Vampire a few yrs ago! I really like Plus your video was an excellent showing.
hmm gonna be interesting to play around with these skills, i can already see skill morphs i wont use and a couple i will need to try first but one things for sure the way i play my 2 current vampires is gonna change a lot to the point that 1 might will probably be cured lol thx again for the great descriptive video hack keep them coming theyre much appreciated
I swear the Bat Scion was meant to give Translucent wings.
It did in the preview, i hope they add it back
Pre PTS footage did show that, maybe they couldn’t get it to work?
Hack The Minotaur do you think it will be added back in?
They have to leave those wings for the final boss. Also probably too much on screen in PVP
I’m glad they got rid of it. It looked dumb. They wings were so stiff lol
Great video Minotaur, thank you. Hopefully they'll be rolling out changes for the werewolf where a similar level of effort has been put into it as that given to the vampire. I can't help but feel as though it would be a great time to address them both given the new setting.
Check out the patch nots. The werewolf’s got a better buff then vamps this patch.
Great vid, as per usual. Some of these abilities look really neat. As an avid-but-terrible gamer, I'm thinking I'm gonna get destroyed using these for a good long while - but I'll still try them out! Thanx Hack! One last thought...seems it might be a good idea to have lots of Heals to play Vampire now, i'm thinking def time for a resto-staff!
*I LOVE this on my Max Health Tanks. Especially my Sorceror*
The numbers on BloodMist could probably be higher, since this will only be able to be used if to stay within melee range of targets, which means you will need a heavier heal to bounce back from your health costing abilities. This is if they want the skill to work as intended with a heavy focus on Vampire abilities. Elusive mist will probably be the go to morph as usual otherwise.
The health cost for the abilities is worrying me I feel like they should reduce the health cost more.
EccentricSage I agree
Looks like I'll be staying at stage 1 or 2 for my nightblade.
awsome cant wait for this long time coming for us Vampires
13:00 Side note for ZOS: Please change the button combination for Blade of Woe or Feed... make one of them X+A instead of Y+B (I'm obviously an xbox player too, haha) so you do not accidentally perform the other sometimes. Thanks!
that stun is going to be so fun! I'm actually excited for this 😂🙌🙌
I was really hoping for the vampire Lord from Skyrim :/
you dont say :{
Just cant please em, can ya.
TubaDude - 👀🤐
dont take me super seriously tho. im positive i can relate on that level with other games lol
TubaDude - Yh haha 😄
damm i need to change the morph on the first skill i was killing myself like 5x times, should a watch this before i started play vamp, thanks for video super helpful :3
They need to add Unarmed weapon skill line.
DrewgKing Slayer Hell ANY new weapon skill line
I would take any new mag weapon over new class
They missed the opportunity in elsweyr. Seriously we had cat monks that knew kung fu, they could of teached us. I mean you can technically already run around unarmed and punch things so the base is already there
@@MyMemo5555 you can make an unarmed skill line and add so mag morphs like flaming fist or something
Not before adding the Spellsword skill line.
for mags being able to use another weapon than staff.
HOLY CRAP! I´ve been away from the game for a long time now.
These changes are amazing. Especially the feed mechanic.
I´ve always felt silly feeding before because I rarely wanted to reduce my stage, unless I was dealing with high level, heavy fire content.
Plus, feeding through a straw was lame af.
Very nice changes. Thanks for the upload, man. Very detailed. Subbed.
They need to get rid of the 20% norm ability cost. Idk why that’s even in there or why being a vamp makes your norm ability cost more. Makes no sense especially since the vamp abilities aren’t that strong lookin by their self and the health cost to most of them makes it really risky to play. The 100% no health recovery and fire weakness is punishment enough for bein a vamp. They buffed werewolf more this patch than the vamp. Wtf
I was hoping to turn my Magcro into a vamp just for fun an rp, but it seems that it would turn my character unplayable for Solo pve.
The literal only reason why the cost is there is to make the 'perfect scion' morph useful.
I'm just excited for this rework OMG the Healing beam monster sets with the buff ability and crit for the vamp beam it's going to be lit af
No, it's a good edition. Otherwise, people have no reason not to go vampire stage 4 because of how good the abilities and passives are. Legit half the players in the game would be a vampire.
I can't wait to try it out with my magica pet build sorc
Vampire used to give u more sustain... Now it's taking away sustain and making it harder for you to actually sustain.. 20% + regular ability cost????? I mean no brainier... Never taking vampire. Everything looks flashy and beautiful well done... Synergizing etc... They had to dump it all with that 20% ability cost increase... The heck???
Remember I its still the PTS so hopefully some of this will change my other concern would be the hundred percent reduction in health regen because I think even if you have sets that give you health regen it would still be zero
You have to sacrifice something to gain all the passives. Thats a good change.
@@Metin2FREAK53 I agree but I think it's a bit over kill at the moment
It is still in the pts after all, but I wonder how this will actually play out with the healing while doing damage toggle.
@@jerrymcdaniel6643 Health regen is like this because otherwise you just put full heavy armor and alessian set and you can toggle the 600dmg without worrying about healing. That's why
Drain Vigor: The numbers on the stamina restore here also seem pretty weak for a channeling ability. You will probably need to role dodge after channeling it or even block to interrupt it, basically rendering it useless.
It seem weird and random they through a stam regen morph when everything else in the skill line caters to mag players. Like how most the abilities do mag damage. Idk what stam players are goin to do with mag damage abilities or what mag players are goin to do with a stam morph lol. It makes no sense.
Adding a snare or setting the opponent off-balance or adding empower are all better options.
I've been a Vampire since ESO first released on PS4 so anything new is very exciting for me! That said these skills honestly look amazing, especially hypnosis and the new ultimate. I'm a little concerned about the changes to my Vampire Lord gear set but I guess we'll see how that works on release
With the sprint ability they neutralized the invis pots. Casual players can do the thieves guild and the brotherhood without a nightblade class or the invis pots.
I was really only using vamp for undeath I will be dropping vamp now but I really like the changes. Looks like you have to think hard about your build if you're a vamp, very cool.
This hurts to type but In elder scrolls I've always loved being a vampire. In ESO I'm aware they're not that great outside of some niche (Sometimes helpful) Passives. I was excited when I heard that Vampires were getting a rework and now the player would be encouraged to use an all vampire ability build, but honestly I'm a little put out by these changes. Having 0 Health recovery and massive health cost abilities just seems like an awful Idea. If it was another game I'd assume there would be more changes to make the Kit feel more well rounded or at least complete. When it goes live I'll still be giving it a whirl but I want nothing more than to be proven wrong.
Loved the video though, well made and presented as always :) Keep it up!
you got tons of heal though so it kinda makes up for it
Agreed! These passive health nerfs will only harm the vamp line imo. I for one will be dumping it if it stays as is. Let's hope the WW ends up better then, it'll be weird being a fleabag, but ya gonna go with the flow! :)
@@nickmylo8703 Maybe, it depends how the rotation flows. Like I said I''l be glad to be proven wrong when we all get our hands on the rework :)
If it would Not have that drawbacks it would be fuckin op

idk why no one posted a clear video like you with the new stuff they try in pts
all what is posted is they "changes" of sets and angry reactions.
yes i'm with you but for the love of god post the vampire skills .. show us horrowstorm and its mechanics. show us western skyrim and blackreach.
maybe i'm rushing things but i'm hyped ^^
nightblades are getting MASSIVE help with this. I am excited.
I feel like as a tank vampire just became incredibly less attractive. Undeath is great but we don’t have a massive resource pool to begin with and 100% lost health recovery vs 50% it’s going to put a lot more strain on healers and for tanks to have self heal. I could see something with a tank using the blood mist form and drain but honestly this gives me the incentive to cure my necro tanks vampirism
Nick G
“Less attractive” is generous. Playing as a tank or healer vampire just became, “why the fuck would I want this?”.
you can't please everyone, it's literally impossible, that's why things change all the time
My Breton Magicka Nightblade is happy :D
Nick health regen isn’t that great honestly it’s the skill cost that makes it difficult.
MGCXIII why? You won’t be able to use night blade abilities lmao
They look fantastic. Good job showcasing. Baffled at anyone giving you a thumbs down. They must have meant thumbs down on their opinion of the skills, passives, etc.
i saw another video a while ago and the ultimate had wings and looked alot more like skyrims vampire lord. The bone goliath form increases your health by 40000 and that ultimate only does it by 10000. It's a worse variant but non necromancers would make use of it. But at the end of the day i would much rather have the rework variant of vampires because of one reason - the new feeding animation
NB bow gank build is gonna be everywhere.
Just run magblade instead. Trust me. They got more healing to offset the health cost to beat down most players in a single shot. Magblade gankers will be everywhere.
Mag blade god beam oooft
Look at the changes to Balorg. They took 500 spell dmg away for around 11,5k Penetration. With vamp u now get 900 spell dmg back. I basically get + 400 spell dmg in total and 11,5k pen ( that’s 3x Spriggan 5 setbonus) while running the same setup (Balorg+NMA+VD) as now with my bomb blade.....only drawback is due to selfdamage and cost increase now I’m definitely dying every bomb. There is no reason to slot shadow image anymore XD
@@elloco9135 "no reason to slot shadow image anymore" :)
@@thedominator5620for a bombblade im pretty sure its either im dead after deto + ult + 1 or 2 sap essence or I dont have any ressources left to escape due to 10% increased costs (Im going to stay vamp at stage 2). But will see how sustain in No Cp is going to be with higher vamp stages.
I've realised that Blood mist covers more area behind than in front instead of a perfect 360 area coverage... I think maybe better this way harder to hit the desired targets unless the desired targets are behind like night blades that have more dps stun ect from behind.
I can smell the lag coming.
Vampire sorc is going to be amazing! I already heal for 7.5K/s on my tank so the health cost abilities will have a miniscule effect and paired with the sustain of dark deal? I'm excited.
The Time on the tooltip of the Blood Scion Transformation is not a bug, your in the Basion Sanguivaris House where Vampires can stay in this Form indefinitely.
i cant wait for greymoor
2:00 Do the effects of the ulitmate keep active if you would enter mistform shortly after activation of the ultimate?
I have the assumption that most passives will not be used due to the vamp levels and the cost increases of regular skills which are over the top. 20% cost increase + 100% less health recovery? 2/4/6/8% would have been way better.
Good video again
If you have the time, I am curious if Sated Fury will heal you for a percentage of any skill you cast that costs health while it is active, or if it is strictly the health lost from Sated Fury only. Tooltip seems to imply it is probably just the cost of Sated Fury, but I am still curious.
All I wanna know, since the new feed syngergy is, if we're still able to use feed and the DB: blade of woe depending on the distance
(or an actual setting to change between them, there's a mod around for that, but official coding should would be better)
Hey Hack, with the upcoming changes to vampire, which classes do you think could get the most out of it? Which class builds do you suggest go vampire? Which avoid it? Thanks.
I'd be interested to see how these changes work out with the updated Vampire Lord set, although I think the increase costs to non-vampire abilities will be too much
Finally made vamps useful in magic melee builds awesome
looking at the comments section after months of this update being live is hilarious, yall had it too good with your passives, i think the idea of making the vamp skill line as something to really plan your build around and use more actively was super cool and i wouldnt be surprised to see some kind of out of nowhere vamp builds in pvp
I really think they need to rethink the normal ability cost tbh I mean for end game stuff you won’t even be able to run vampire and tanks for sure can’t do it if that’s the case...
I've been wanting to play ESO and i was wondering if the storylines for vampires and werewolves were good?
For example, could i become a vampire at level 1 or maybe not level 1 because thats 100% to soon but maybe pre level 20?
Also do they constantly update the stories for them as in, is it just the classic story from the first release baseline ESO or have they expanded them as the years have gone on?
Also also, is there a vampire form like the one in Skyrim and for werewolf?
Thanks
Would my other abilities activated before blood mist remain active? For example as a warden if I put on the life steal vines. Would I still receive the damage lifesteal while in blood mist if they were activated before?
Reading over some posts I see folks worrying about costs. Been a vamp for over 4 years, and I have been able to find work arounds. And that was before the necro. Personally I think the new vamp tree will work great with a necromancer. I cant wait.
you should get a friend and test synergies that heal. would be interesting if synergies from blood altar, necrotic orb, and budding seeds still heal the vampire while they have blood frenzy on. with a coordinated team leaving the synergies for the vampire player they could output some serious damage keeping that buff on. a max health specialized tank who gets the most out of that 100% increased damage. vampire warden with arctic wind and ice fortress comes to mind as an interesting choice. would definitely have to be a tank with magicka as a focus tho so they could make use of abilities that have a magicka only option like hypnotize.
Kinda curious - what class would be best suited for vampire? (for soloing mostly) and also I assume magicka build would be the wisest option?
That buff is gonna be a gankers wet dream.
I completely agree. I have been putting my magblade off for some time now. It's time to bring him back!!!!
DrewgKing Slayer 600dmg buff, and a 300dmg buff out of cloak. That’s a lot of fkn dmg. Idk if that’s here to stay, I see a nerf coming to that when it goes live.
@@wothanar8516 I kinda agree. But the risk is high. High risk and high reward gameplay. It might be a counter to those really tanky meta players. I am really excited for this. It gets my brain juices going.
@@H8fulApe That is a good point, Tanks have been getting the carrot a little too long. This will be a good stick for em!
The risk is low compared go the reward here. This makes your gank a lot more likely. There is no risk if you kill someone from stealth allowing them 0 counter play.
I think there is some tweaking to be done but it looks awesome.
How long do the stages last now? And do they reduce back down in time when vampire abilities are used?
Can you still add health recovery at stage 4? How long is the range of drain? Thanks :)
Please make a video on how they just destroyed the Asylum destro. It needs to be adressed. Thank you
Hmmmm...I'm debating but I think I'll stay as a vampire to test it out as a warden tank, healing shouldn't be too much of a issue despite the cost of the increase but I will see if I can make it work, may not be as bad as it seems
Well gonna cure my tank now
Do we get our points back that we spent on the skill line when the update comes out? Thank you x
Is the sprint invisibility useful if you're in combat? If a guard is chasing you, will the 3 second sprint/invisibility get you out of combat? Very cool video, btw
So with a current Vampire, will you have to redo all of the skill points.. or do you have to start over
@@slothjon1960 Thanks, I was thinking that, but I had heard rumor from someone that you would have to start over, Thanks again..
@David N I heard it was June..but I really dont know
@David N I agree. I am really looking forward to it. It will change a little about Werewolf as well, but it really focuses on Vampires. Kind of reminds me of Dawnguard for Skyrim
@glitter I figured so, by the Vampire Lord Ultimate. But I didn't think they would. I think it could work out well, even tho a lot of players gonna hate it.. I mentioned the idea a while back on a Facebook group...and the dislike for it was horrible...it was before they announced it
They'll no doubt have free respecs for a week or 2 because of all the changes
Comment, vampire stage 5 does it last only as long as the ultimate transformation, or does it drop with the transformation?
How does Vampire Lord set work with these, esp on ones that cost Health or toggles, do you get the 6% reduction?
If it says abilities in general, I would imagine. Also if it says Vampire abilities. Worth a try!
That Set gets changed, it's part of the PTS Notes Video.
Stam Sorc with Elusive Mist 30% speed popping out only to Dark conversion...Interesting. All of us are going into bat-Tish crazy analysis lol over the good combinations in our near future...
Do u know if the feeding for the stages is like the blade of dark brotherhood? So if i kill a npc i wont get a bounty
I think the no health regeneration at stage 4 is not good at all
Elusive Mist and Cyro’s Light!
Hey hack, do you think you can actually build a Vampire class now? Play as a Vampire using Vampire skills as you would normal class skills and be effective in a DPS role? Thanks for the video.
I hope mag necro is a good pair
The three classes I've kept vampire over the years are magblade, magsorc, and more recently magnecro. It will be interesting to see how they mesh with the changes
Only Race for such a combo is Breton and u need to stay stage 1 or max. 2.
El Loco91 I was kinda hoping to make a highelf
Maybe Altmer works but Breton gives u solid 7% cost reduction. At stage one u still have 2% reduction and at stage 2 u only have an increase of 3%. While Altermer already has increased costs of 10%. Even if the Altmer passiv „Spell recharge“ gives u 645 magicka every 6 seconds but that’s at least something. Maybe play around with some cost reduction glyphs or with food for better sustain. Stage 4 will be basically unplayable unless u want to spam heavy attacks every 4-5 skills XD
Not sure if ima be vampire right now really loving my Necro-Wolf Hybrid but if I do definately going for Perfect Scion vampire stage 5 but...what happened to the vampire ultimate with the wings?
The Undeath passive kinda took a hit requiring that +15% extra cost for non vamp abilities, but it looks very interesting overall. I wonder if undeath will still be worth it on that necro health tank build from dottz.
well that kills off vampire for me I had it for the spammable mostly accelerating drain, and it seems nerfed to crap.
