'The most basic and easiest way to mini tub" the way you fellas make it all sound so easy has me shaking my head, thats a hard job. Well done looks shmicko
You are legit where i want to be at in 5 years time. My own workshop doing custom fab work like this myself. I already do motor swaps and pretty much anything suspention and drivetrain out of my shed at home
Nice work brother , do you happen to know off the top of your head how much more space you get for a shorten diff? Etc I think the standard Borg is 1500. Do you gain a couple hundred mm either side. Cheers.
This had coilover rear shocks so they have a ball joint mount and it can move enough for the shock to be fine. if your running a standard shock you can just cut off the mount and weld on a bolt so the shock mounts onto a bolt. exact same as how the utes are. that way it can be on the angle.
Hey Mate, You have a few options. You can cut off the factory mount and weld on a bolt so its very similar to a ute diff, you can just swap out to a ute diff if its easier for you too ( i have done this before) but if your keeping the factory setup you will need to do something. if you get a coilover shock or similar they have a swivel eyelet mount at the bottom. This car already had those in it so it had enough movement to allow for the relocation.
Hey Mate, Appreciate the sub. its called Move it by Muevelo not sure where you can stream it. we get most of our music from soundstripe. some from Lickd music.
Located In Geelong, Victoria. On a commodore rear tubs basic package is $2500 like this car or premium package is $4400 thats new tubs but still not a full tub. Email info@rcshq.com for more details / bookings
Hey Mate, on a commodore rear tubs basic package is $2500 like this car or premium package is $4400 thats new tubs but still not a full tub, not 100% on XE. but you could budget around the same i reckon. id just need to have a good look in person
@@RCSMediaDivision no worries was just wondering I’ve started a Barra turbo xe and have a rod shop 9” done to the rail and was curious will definitely be giving you guys a message when I get a bit further into the build. Appreciate you getting back to me especially so soon
The stone guard isn't a inch thick its a few mm your showing a section of seam sealer hanging off it not stone guard. Some etch primer and rust kill would have been nice so this doesn't rust out for the customer.

My third time watching this honestly i think it shows that its basic. You can get kits to do it but how you moved it across is spot on best option
Yer for sure mate, like if you have money to spare then buy the new tubs and go down that path. but this works perfect for most people.
Just discovered this channel, nice work buddy.. your honest
Thanks mate, i try my best to be as open as i can about the good and the bad side of cars =)

Been a minute but i think you gain 27-28mm on the inside. To gain huge room you need to do full tubs, cut chassis rails etc it gets pretty expensive
Any mod to how rear shocks mount after moving inner guard in

Nice job mate, simple and clean. Should tell the customers you rate the size of your hammers by the amount of wheel clearance they need 😋
hahah, id have to start buying some bigger hammers
Awsum watch bro

Hey mate im looking at doing the same thing to my car. im just wondering did you have to move the bottom bracket for the shock absorber

Awesome job mate, was wondering with this type of mini tub can you fit a a 275/60/15 tyre in there?
Yer i reckon you could mate. youd want to build it with the tyres there so you could be 100% before welding it all up tho.
