Im 27 weeks pregnant and been having hard time breathing, rapid heart rate and hard time sleeping. I was referred to cardio, had 2d echo, ecg and test for hypothyroidism, all came negative and no issue. My ob gyne and cardio is concern with my rapid heart rate almost same as my baby which is 150. What should i do, and what is the probable cause of this? I had hypertension before pregnancy and on my maintenance meds but my bp drop during pregnancy.

@@mstrawder66 i had csection..my bp didnt drop from 150/100 during my labor. And my baby already pooped inside my womb. After two weeks of my delivery, i also had a mild stroke. I dont mean to scare you but its better to also to monitor your bp even after you give birth just for precaution.

@@joanayanez7864 we were not able to identify why i had rapid heartbeat but from what im guessing its probably because of stress and lack of proper sleep and nutrients during pregnancy. Bec as you see im frequently vomitting all throughout my pregnancy. But that just my guess its better to consult with your ob.

My OB said the heart rate will go higher during pregnancy. I have a heart condition and sometimes my heart rate gets as high as 110. I am seeing a cardiologist that specializes in congenital heart defects. I lose my breath sometimes too and sleep is a struggle, these are normal pregnancy symptoms. What is not normal is having heart problems and passing out. Get an echo done as well as an MRI, CT, TEE, and nuclear stress test.
