Interesting video... but when you make multiple coke cans follow the path, do you do a linear pattern for the cans or do you make copies and use path mate for each of them?
Thank You! bharath bathula Here linear Pattern will not help! Because,When it will be subjected in motion then each CAN will exhibit same orientation(As they will be just a pattern of a main CAN) But here every CAN have a different orientation at any particular time. I made Copy of each CAN and applied Seperate Path mate motor.
You Just need 2 things: 1. Path Mate Motor 2. Contacts I have not used Autodesk inventor Yet.But,I am sure that these two features will definitely be there. Then, you can follow the above steps and Easily Animate the above conveyor.
Unfortunatelly when produced in real life cans will stuck or just jump over this device :) -there shall be used other mathod for make the "socket" for cans...You shall use a solid body in shape of cylinder and make a cut-sweep with helise and this cylinder... The Motion study is also presented incorrectly - you can not make a patch make motor in this... You shall make a real life simulation with only gravity , "contact". You shall pusch the last can so it would pusch other cans in front ( of coures cans shall be in some guides just before twister. There shall be also upper half of twister - you made only down half. The methods you just presented are only good for animation - this geometry won't work in real life ...
there is also an upper half, a complete animation is available in another video with full design (available on channel). Yes this is just for animation purpose.
How much wider and taller is the cut out compared to the can?
amazing video!
can you please share us the way you calculate the pitch to twist the can correctly?
thanks!
Two bottles merge together when running motion study. Any idea?

Hi! its really interesting. I would like to know if do you have the file to send it to me. Thanks!
Thanx
