My husband just went through a similar situation. My husband is a locksmith and he was called to a tow yard to unlock a car and whenever he popped the trunk he found a bag with 17 to 20 driver's licenses of women. He called the police. They came, barely took a report, and didn't even ask my husband for identification or to fill an affidavit. We didn't hear anything else about it until an FBI agent was at a car dealership that's an account of my husband's and he overheard two salesman talking about what my husband had found in a car trunk. He had been investigating it and the local police never even handed it over to him and it was a huge part of evidence.. the FBI agent was fuming mad to say the least. I mean that's a huge thing in an investigation and the local police just didn't GAF come to find out they verified that at least half of the women were missing from States up and down the East Coast SMH it really boggles my mind the people that they hire to protect and serve society because clearly they can't be bothered when it comes to actual work. Look at how many women have gone missing and have been murdered and the police refuse to investigate it because of a certain lifestyle that they had. Who are the cops to say who's important in this world and who isn't? How would they feel if it was one of their family members that were missing/ murdered and nobody wanted to investigate it. It can happen to anybody. I think that police need to reevaluate themselves and start protecting EVERYONE. Not just who they feel is more important because we are all human beings and we all bleed red🙏🏼💔
Well, what can we expect when you have had so many people rioting and denigrating the police for months and years saying that they need to be "defunded"? None of that is exciting. Pulling someone over can be an adrenaline rush. It’s the I’m in charge, I’m better than you effect. Most officers won’t get that same feeling doing digital forensics. Too much time, too much work. It takes a special person to want to do that.

So many human's really don't care what another endures as long as they make some money. Money is the root of all evil - such a true saying.
As a ret. LEO, I can say that I've worked with some idiots who should have never kept their job. For example, on one burglary investigation of broken-in slot machines, the store owner told me that each night before closing he'd wipe down all of the chrome-plated slot machine covers with a damp towel leaving a spotless finish now covered in fingerprints. When the ID people came to take photos of the damage, I informed the sergeant about the fingerprint situation and what the owner had told me. The sergeant in charge didn't bother lifting any prints, and he was leaving? When I asked why he didn't lift prints, he said, "Well how do you know those prints belong to the burglars?: I always felt that "supervisor' wasn't too bright because of how he presented himself. He just demonstrated my correct opinion of him. Then there was the time that I found credit cards in multiple different names on an illegal alien Mexican brought into our Detention facility by another agency. I phone that agency to report what I had just found so that the arresting officer, who should have found those credit cards during the arrest for a traffic violation, could immediately return. Did the arresting officer of that other agency return to take possession of the cards? No? At the time that other officer had just departed our facility so he couldn't have been far away. For the next 5 hours, nobody returned for the cards which obviously didn't belong to that illegal alien? I took it upon myself to start tracking down the names on those credit cards. One card belonged to a woman who told me that her automobile had been burglarized in a church parking lot a week earlier which would indicate that the illegal alien was the prime suspect for that burglary. The names on the other cards weren't listed locally and probably belonged to people living out of the area or state. If nothing else, that illegal alien could have been charged with Possession of Stolen Property, a 5-year prison sentence if convicted There were other stupid situations I encountered during my career that left me shaking my head.
Actually Doug from AWP said 37 minutes... Compared to the thousands of hours police allegedly searched. Insane corruption and incompetence.. and gatekeepers on top of that!
Any "investigator" who claims their investigation is "done" when presented with new information (without looking at that new information) should be reviewed by Internal Investigations and dealt with accordingly. Too often, I'm afraid that would yield nothing.
They were probably just tasked to get the truck back. My guess is though an investigator probably was never informed or he was given minimal info by someone that reported it to him.
There's laptops, panties, multiple ID's and the SS card of someone connected to a human trafficking sting... and she had to CONVINCE them to look into it?? Seems like all that would fall under the category of "Worth Looking Into" for law enforcement. Ridiculous.
My husband is a LEO and I'll be the first to say this doesn't surprise me at all, in fact it's no wonder ppl stay missing so long ,or why so many crimes go unpunished. Pathetic. Good job to this woman who tried to do what should've already been done.

I can’t believe they are having to do detective work because the police don’t want. Outrageous! The criminal’s DNA and fingerprints are all over that truck and too bad they "chucked the bag of panties " with all the victims DNA. I’d definitely call the people on all of those cards. Police officers think that their prison wardens running a prison and the citizens are there inmates. That's how they treat all of us law abiding citizens.
Same. They thought everything would get tossed when they gave her the truck back is what it looks like to me. I wonder if they are involved with the people picking up those unaccompanied minors from the border. Our govt hands over thousands of them to unvetted sponsors every month. The cartel has made $13 billion from human trafficking since Biden took office. I don't trust anybody anymore.
This does remind me of that story. It makes me feel like city officials have a person on the inside who knows what's going on but instead of lifting that rock to see what else comes out they would rather ignore it. Same w those license plates. Somebody screwed up or something shady was going on but they don't want any deeper investigations done
If this lady still possesses these items, she should make a list, without social security numbers, and post them. Hopefully family can identify same. Thank you for going to the news with this.

I luckily found the guy on Facebook and he had a picture of his car.. with his LICENSE PLATE. I got so lucky. I was able to get my car fixed and covered by his insurance. The police told me “you shouldn’t press charges, you don’t know what this guy is capable of” like wtf. What do you guys even do???
It's not the police. It's the fact that they know the politicians that control them will not let them look into certain crimes. What a time to be alive.
The only reason they found her truck was because the driver was involved with police. If he was careful he could go about driving that truck indefinitely. To have such confidence to be using a stolen truck for such audacious activities shows how much he thinks he can get away with. And by the authorities' reaction to the found evidence honestly shows we are in hard times. Protect yourself and your family, take all precautions because the police isn't going to be there to protect you.
The police are definitely working with the crooks. Taking a cut. Like the mafia qnd drug deals. But as usual. America keeps going after Republicans harboring nazees.
I saw this on extremely busy Goodman rd in Southaven Ms recently. A car full of people in a blue elantra. I drove around them, made it to the turning lane for Airways Blvd. They were still behind me, immediately an officer jumps out of nowhere throws a spike strip in front of their front tires, police cars descend from all directions. I found out later it was a stolen car. I thought why on earth were they in the middle of Southaven ? My son says thieves can pop the front dash cover off Hyundai cars, steal them immediately. Explains why they're stolen so often
Same thing happened to my sister-in-law. Her camper was stolen and then found in the next state over. When she got it back it had TONS of IDs and checkbooks that LE just left in there. When she pressed LE for the 4th time, a female officer took the items as potential evidence in ID Theft. A month later, that same female officer called back to thank her, as the evidence solved over 40 cases!
That’s pretty scary how real trafficking is and I hope the victims can benefit from this find. I don’t think it’s nothing, it deserved to be investigated. I had an issue with a state level investigation team that went to the defendant and updated him on my efforts.
How can you assume that it's human trafficking? People have been running away from home since forever. Some people just want to live as hobos or scofflaws.
@@ChiliCheeseD0g I think they got the idea from one of the IDs being for a man who has already been arrested in a human trafficking sting, as mentioned earlier in the video. Also for all we know, the women could be involved because sometimes women help lure younger ones in for money or drugs or both. I didn't notice how old the women on the IDs were or looked.
Why would a police department not be interested in items related to a man already known to be a part of human trafficking? Sad that this lady cares more than the police do. Glad that she got in touch with the media. Hopefully now something will be done.
This is what happens when you know who's involved but they're too powerful for you to take them on so now the smart thing to do is play dumb and go back to work tomorrow.
We needs our police to protect and serve citizens. They’ve turned into only being extra ticket revenue for the state and a hassle for the general public while real crimes go ignores. Just sad
It stinks that they'll probably never look into those pueces of evidence. The entirety of that truck probably has more and more evidence of trafficking crimes in it. The lady did the right thing, however police usually only respond to active crimes. They probably don't have a dedicated forensics unit or cold case unit to go through the laptop.... which is really depressing 😕 😐
This is an active crime as the ladies are steal missing and probably being abused, the police seem to be in on it; or can't do anything about it because it's on a higher level of government infrastructure that can't be challenged
Glad to hear that this has been reported on television so that we know where the bad police are really at! Because not all law enforcement is bad. But this is a perfect example of law enforcement failing at its best!

@@double_joseph327 police are so scared then civilians 😂
The only reason they found her truck was because the driver was involved with police. If he was careful he could go about driving that truck indefinitely. To have such confidence to be using a stolen truck for such audacious activities shows how much he thinks he can get away with. And by the authorities' reaction to the found evidence honestly shows we are in hard times. Protect yourself and your family, take all precautions because the police isn't going to be there to protect you.
The police are definitely working with the crooks. Taking a cut. Like the mafia qnd drug deals. But as usual. America keeps going after Republicans harboring nazees.
But our government wants to do its very best to disarm us of any ability to defend ourselves. Very disturbing.
Stay up on them they don't give a damn to busy harassing people driving or walking.
Unbelievable. How can law enforcement ignore sex trafficking.....
Trust me the police did nothing and they continue to do nothing… even though they “accepted the backpack”
Trash
That most likely what happened to the stuff
In the front door straight out the back door and into the dumpster.
That’s pretty scary how real trafficking is and I hope the victims can benefit from this find. I don’t think it’s nothing, it deserved to be investigated. I had an issue with a state level investigation team that went to the defendant and updated him on my efforts.
Sex trafficking and man made climate change are constructs of the MSM. They are both wildly exaggerated. Like the pandemic
How can you assume that it's human trafficking? People have been running away from home since forever. Some people just want to live as hobos or scofflaws.
@@ChiliCheeseD0g Gound another human trafficker, boys.
They don't want the stuff because they're the ones running the rings at the top. IYKYK
Facts
SMH..They gone take that bag and toss it in the basement..File 13
haha like they do to the other reports
Lol🙊 It's not funny it's just the way you said it🤣
More likely it’s sitting in a landfill already
Seems fishy that they didn't want them at first... surely they are not involved 🤔
I'm sure the state has people trained in this
Well Tennessee is one of the few states left that still arrests for weed so they got that going for them....
This is an active crime as the ladies are steal missing and probably being abused, the police seem to be in on it; or can't do anything about it because it's on a higher level of government infrastructure that can't be challenged
How sad, that back pack could help find a missing child, this is startling, and you still don’t know if they will investigate, God help❤️
Glad to hear that this has been reported on television so that we know where the bad police are really at! Because not all law enforcement is bad. But this is a perfect example of law enforcement failing at its best!
She was smart to have the reporter with her when she dropped off the items.
(It is a shame tho that she thru out the underwear. They may have been ‘trophies’ from victims and had dna.
