I’m glad I opened this video next to my kids. They don’t know enough cuss words.
As soon as he said “what the fuck up my fellow UA-camrs” I liked t he video 😂😂😂😂
Same 😂
Hey Sr I just want to say thanks a lot !! You video it did help me real good !! God bless you Sr !! I glad you made this video !!!
I know you made this video 5 years ago. But now is when I bought a 2007 Yukon Denali and like you, stupid ass dealer only gave me one key. I followed your easy ass steps on my new key fob and it worked on the first try. Thanks!! Keep-making new videos brother!!!
searched how to program multiple keyless fob Yada Yada and this guy had the best eastern bravado...finally a how to but "Not boring" tutorial withput snoring at him personality, lol
Thank you so much i Litteraly just programmed mine, two of them!!👍
Great video, great info, just what I needed!! Thanks man
THANK YOU!! 2010 Chevy Traverse here.
I would LOVE to thank you Justin for keeping it real, and helping people, instead of being a greedy bastard. I was frustrated and went out to fix my remote start on my Pontiac G6. I basically just got. 2010 I think. I sat out there, freezing my everything off, having a smoke, de-stressing, and I ended up fucking up my car. lmao. I am a dipshit sometimes. It won't start now. that is me. oh well...Thanks for the video tho.
Video starts at 1:33 thank me later
My wife's 2006 HHR key fobs started to stop working over time. It seemed like a battery issue but replacing the battery didn't work. Does anyone know if they just need reprogrammed? Also, the car doesn't have an info button. I'm trying to avoid paying hundreds to have a dealership do this if I can do it myself. Any tips are appreciated. Thanks.
I love your accent❤❤❤
Great video and information!
I've never heard anyone pronounce fob by spelling it out before. Do you think the letters stand for something?
no, it's not an acronym. The word was used 100 years ago for a decorative thing attached to the end of a pocket watch chain. He's confused on that. It's a word, not an acronym. In the world of freight shipping (and ordering things that are shipped, FOB (caps) is for "free on board." I forget what it means, but you can find it if you search for it.

I have Chevy equinox I
I lost key and remout I towed the car to dealer ship and they programmed 2 keys and they charge around 200$ just for the progmed keys
Now I don’t have a remout to open the door and now ordered 2 remout for equinox 2007
Is it possibly to program my self as I saw on UA-cam video?
Please help me if possible
That helped me a lot . Thanks for the video.
This is great, huge help thanks
Can you or anyone please help a girl out? My vehicle is the same as yours however, it does not come with the option to relearn remote? I’ve watched I don’t know what handful of videos trying to find how I can bypass it or if I need to factory reset I don’t know, but if someone could help me, I would greatly appreciate it. I replace the battery in my key fob and I’m just trying to program my remote, so that the alarm doesn’t go off every time I have to manually unlock my door. Thank you.!
Does it work with a Chevy hhr?
Did you ever get it figured out ?? I have 2006 HHR I'm trying to program key remote , any ideas ?
literally same tested the fob it works on a battery tester but not my car
WORKS ON AN 08 SILVERADO AND THE REMOTE START WORKS ALSO. 3 FOB'S ALL PROGRAMED.
LIVE FREE how? I can’t get my remote start to learn
Thanks for the video. It was successful.
Thank you so much!
- does the start button work ?
You can program up to 8 remotes.
Does remote start work after doing this or is separate programming required?
That’s what I want to know as well
Will this work for a 2005 Chevy cobalt?
Zack Huber only if you have the keyless entry re-learn feature available in your lcd display. I dont think the 05 cobalt had it.
but does the manufacture " car start" also work ?
I have a Chevy HHR 2007 and when I push the Info tab I do not receive the relearn remote key option. Anyone figure this out yet, I want my daughter to be able to get into her car as fast as possible
Did you figure it out??
I need to know
How do I get that (Press relearn remote key) on my 2005 Chevy Equinox?
Jake Boss 05 equinox need a tech2 scan tool to program.
thank you
Mine does not give that option under info ...so what is the deal ...I have a 2011 Chevy Silverado ls
I have the same problem, have you worked something out?
This man's truck is an LTZ. For LS, use the odo reset button--push it several times until you see "relearn remote" or something like that.
@@joseelizondo7535 This man's truck is an LTZ. For LS, use the odo reset button--push it several times until you see "relearn remote" or something like that.
I think the max you can program is 4 fobs if anyone needs to know. That's the limit on my HHR and I'd assume other GM cars are the same.
did the remote start work after reprogramming???
Does the Remote Start work as well ???
how do you reset the remote starter? please help
No it doesn't work like that cuz the way the Chevys are when you program them from the dash computer if you program a new fob or a new key you can do it from inside the truck without going to the factory you can do it yourself and as soon as you reprogram one it automatically deletes out all the other ones so they all have to be programmed at the same time so when you program one you got a program all of them
I have 2011 Malibu Ltz and it doesn’t have that info available, just oil, gas, tire, mileage etc. help
Yeah, my 2013 doesn't have it either.
Thanks for posting this info.
My relearn doesn't show when I press it
How about the remote start
I have a 08 hhr and i don't see that learn option
I tried that and I went threw all the opinions and mine did not say "relearn key" do u know what the problem is there?
Anthony Byus me too I'm in the same situation!
Me three!
what year and make?
The problem is, keeping up with the world. It's too fast, I just fucked up my car. I fuck shit up all the time. lmao. Now, I'm gonna eat a chicken sammich and laugh. Michigan blows
I have Chevy equinox 2007
I have the same issue I tried so me time to press info but does not show me key learning mode
My car doesn’t have that setting on any of those info buttons
Buck Gino neither does mine
Your truck is like mine--a lower trim level gets a different driver info display. check your manual
@@roningram5877 what do u mean?
@@KittyZeee I mean read the owner's manual. This man is in a 2007 (or newer) Chev / GMC truck My truck does NOT have the "info" button on the dash that he pushed. His truck is an LTZ or high-line GMC. On my Chevy LT, (& probably yours) you push the odometer reset button several times until you see "Learn remotes" of something like that. Then follow the instructions here.
Thanks a lot really helpful, Everytime I program one it would void the other one.
hint "FOB" is a word....not initials... strange... but thanks for the video
Yaaaa.....fuckin Aaaa Ray. Thanks a million.
Hmm tried this with a new remote and no dice
My 2011 traverse has no relearn option
Have a 11 avalanche and pressing the button 1000 times will never show me relearning key option
Me too , never shows relearning key/fob, Need help please
Have you solved the problem I have the same thing on mine
@@joseelizondo7535 Ck + lead
This solution does not work for GCC spec cars. You have to do it with Key tool to activate remote learning
Lol thxs I have a 2012 chevy impala and no option like that is given
Ace hardware will cut the key and they have gm keys.
Must be NJ or NYC, nice language
John Loar that is correct. Queens to be exact 😉
Never showed relearn key fob
Thanks! Dealerships Just take advantage of people.
*F-O-B* 's
If its a chipped key .. you will need a code from GM to allow it to unlock the key/car security system in the ignition switch
Thanks man so simple
Thanks !!!!!!! Obrigado
how to program with remote start
Clyde Jackson im not sure if its an aftermarket remote start. This is for Chevy factory installed only.
Thanx 👍🏽❤️
Completely wrong about the used car dealers, when they buy cars either form a dealer wholesale auction or trade in, they VERY rarely come with two keys, I would say 90 percent of the time they get 1 key and maybe 1 remote. That is a FACT! If you want two key, go buy it new. Then you can lose one or trade it in with one and blame a used car dealer.
John Humphrey I was specifically told this by a shady dealership when i asked for the 2nd key. The ironic part is that this same dealership sold me an extended warranty which wasnt honored when the transmission failed 1yr later. Since i wasnt able to sue the warranty provider i sued the dealership for selling me the policy. All repairs including rentals were recovered. Ive learned since then to buy extended warranties through my insurance carrier from now on. Yet another shady hustle by the industry. Thank you for your comment, and good luck with your dealership. 😉
You generalize and assume all car dealers are bad, you are wrong, honest ones do very well. I do it on the side,I am retired, I buy cars for a dealer and he pays me 50percent of the profit made, It is VERY rare we get two keys, and we wont sell a car without a warranty, a warranty that actually will cover the repair.
Stop being so negative, have faith there are good people out there.
Here is what life has taught me, Not everyone is trustworthy but the ones that are not trustworthy make you appreciate the ones that are.
john you are the one whom is generalizing and mistaken! I have personally bought 4 used cars in the last 10 years are 4 vehicles were bought from 4 separate dealerships with no affiliation. and when purchased all 4 vehicles 2 cars 1 truck and 1 suv all came with one key when I asked about the 2nd key and key fob which was in the envelope with all the other paperwork 3 salesmen came right out and said with the vehicle being financed they key is retained until car is paid off. so don't get on youtube and say someone is completely wrong like you did in your first post. maybe you don't do this but in other states like Michigan, new York, new jersey they do this.
John Humphrey How hard would it be for them to cut a new key? They are willing to charge you for one so they certainly can do it and it wouldn't cost them very much. I have always gotten two keys.
@@johnhumphrey4380 I believe most car salesman and dealership are not trustworthy. They will sell you a lemon and a worthless extended warranty and leave you making car payments and doing repairs. I don't trust any of them.
Thanks man
I keep trying this and it will not work
Terance Willis make sure you ordered the proper keypad for your vehicle. Are you able to get 1 programmed?
Mine doesn’t say relearn tbh
Did u ever figure this out mine is the same and doesn't give that option
goto to walmart tire lube express. they have cut numerous keys for me for free. i buy a blank on eBay then take it in and they cut it for free.
yeah, that's great for a house key or a 1965 car. But it won't start a newer car and it won't do remote lock / unlock. Pay attention. He talked about programing the fob, not turning the key.
Aye bro
Ef OH Bees lol
bong bong
stopped waching because of this guys mouth. Come on man. Teaching my son about stuff and got to listen to that? uhg....
This vehicle isn’t keyless entry, this is the true reason why people can’t find good videos... because they mislabel them thinking they are doing some one a huge service! Keep with your day job please
This is keyless entry, just because it’s not the button on the door doesn’t mean it’s not keyless, a fob is labeled keyless entry on car options, just like the old cars with a number pad that’s also keyless entry, just like the new ones with a button on the door... that just connects to the key fob... Idk what you’re point is commenting this, go home
None of this works!!!!!!
Foul language 👎🏼
walmart cuts it for 1 dollar
Not true.
