Never let your judgement get clouded by facts...
Facts of ones own fabrication.
Fun fact, our critically acclaimed Pommern player, also known as SGTJROY has an astounding 43.5% win rate over 3822 battles. While Sir_SinksALot_ is sitting at 53.8% over 5966 battles.
Anyone who spams the requesting support button that much doesn’t know what they are doing
I consider movement in this game to be too slow, and damage/kills to happen too fast for the 'Requesting Support' button to even be an intelligent button to use. The people who spam it are often in over their head, and will be dead long before anyone who could do anything about it can so much as make a turn. So in general, when I hear 'Requesting Support!' I'm muttering: "Idiot, you're already dead."
Flamu often relentlessly spams it in matches. Just against specific people.
@@atigerclaw Absolutely. Now, I think it does have its place, and that is obviously requesting support, what a lot of players don't appear to realise is this is something you're supposed to do _before_ you find yourself waist deep in the doodoo. It's not an "Oh sh**" button that'll somehow make support magically manifest itself no matter how hard you spam it in a panic.
[edit - formatting]
@@atigerclaw Yeah it's useless to spam when you are already overextended. And when one does that, you can be 99% sure that they will blame everyone else in the chat, because other ships somehow should be able to prevent another one from dying when he's in the middle of the enemy team.
But requesting support can be used preemptively to signal your desire for support in a sensible situation that you are going into. Using it like this still doesn't give you the moral high ground to complain about the lack of support after doing a yolo, of course.
Based on experience it is apparent that spamming in chat is a legitimate and popular substitute for thinking
Who here remembers when jingles used to put in the Kraken clip from 'Clash of the Titans' when the 'Kraken unleashed' was earned. I miss it.
Copyright strike (or at least copyright claims). And as always, if you use two seconds that one of the vultures can claim as theirs, they will steal the full revenue of your work. And I am not even sure it is theoretically possible to take that up in court, as you sign up to follow UA-cams own set of rules, and not the letter nor the spirit of the law.
I miss it, too. But would accept a substitute kraken, octopus or even just a squid.
Just put Akatsuki in a cute Kraken costume and have her give the most vicious warcry meow.

As I always say: The difference between good and a bad players is that bad players only ever see mistakes the others make.
Not true. I'm shit and realize when I fuck up. ;P
in this case, i don't think the pommern even recognized "others' mistakes"
@@jacevicki You see, you may be shit, but by realizing it you are already a better player because you less likely will become a toxic player who screams at everyone else over his own mistakes.
@@leamaelgamer5814 Oh yeah, I never become a chat Karen.
You mean imagine the mistakes others make don't you.
It's not everyday I get to see a bottom tier BB kickin' some ass like that Nelson and also the Ibuki being that supportive for the Alaska.
If I have to say it simply, this game was as good as a cup of tea on high seas
That's one reason I like the Nelson, while it's slow and has T-7 protection it HITS like a T-9 BB. LXA_SIMPLE played to her strengths and guarded against her weaknesses.
Chasing a HE spamming kiting cruiser in a battleship that does not overmatch it. Great idea
Of course it is! You just have to remember to bring your VLS system when you do... But that will cause the chat to be flooded with annoyances as the missiles starts hitting home :D
While also providing broadside shots to every other ship on the Buffalo's team, truly an incredible tactical decision. :P
Actually it does overmatch it but that's not the point he still chased a kiting cruiser while being shot across the map.
@@jaigray5422 Pretty sure that's incorrect, Buffalo should have the same 27mm bow/stern as Baltimore which is not overmatched by the 380s on the Pommern. As for the stupidstructure, well 380s will probably just overpen that so lol.
@@Dorkrust 15" guns can overmatch any cruiser in the game with 27mm bow and stern. Pommern has 380mm guns which is boarderline 15"-16" guns, it can over match pretty much any cruiser.
Guy in chat reminds me of a battle I had last year. Sailing the Jean Bart B in a tier 10 game with no CV or radar. I tucked myself up against an island on the flank so I could keep my guns firing but be protected from flanking fire, and every ship that charged forward got torpedoed by invisible DDs. The dead ships all start raging at me in chat for camping and claiming I was no use to my team. Ended up having one of my best games where myself and a couple of survivors drew in the enemy DDs and concentrated them down, and then went on to win the game. Like Jingles says, some people just can't see the forest for the trees.
Its funny how people get pissed like that. If your a battleship your whole job is to act like a sniper rifle and drill ships that get spotted by the DDs. When I play DD I literally sneak around just to light up ships for the BBs to hit or smoke out enemy DDs.
Yeah, I also got myself into a tier 8 battle where I was using the Amagi to sponge all the damage from the enemy to keep them off the more delicate ships with me on the flank. Suddenly, a Bismarck sails straight into open water and was absolutely fuming as to why I was just sitting there "doing nothing". Sufficed to say, the Bismarck was gunned down the moment he stepped out of cover, some of which were DDs, the very reason I wasn't pushing and was just eating damage. He couldn't see the fact that all the ships with lower health than me were (almost) all at full health and we went on to corner the enemy into a crossfire once the other flank was able to push through (I was the only battleship of 5 in that flank until the Bismarck went and got sunk). And that Bismarck went on to spam to report me because I was doing nothing lmao. He said that I was playing poorly and I just couldn't hold myself from saying "well, who's dead" lmao
Ironic that only cruisers(minus the Nelson) were last alive on the Tears of the Cruisers map. Love it.
There are far worse maps for cruisers than Tears of the Desert these days TBH...
Jingles! these early uploads! not interrupting my sleep schedule! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU! I NEED SOMETHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT DAMNIT
That Nelson!!!! Oh man, that Nelson was the true star of this game; bottom tier, outliving the tier 9 BBs on his team, and not complaining about it in chat at all. What an amazing person!

It's obvious Jingles, they just got lucky after the Pommern called them out, guilting them into trying to play better. So the Pommern is therefore single handedly responsible for the win.
So a 4D reverse psychology huh
Was it Lee Travino who said, the more I practice, the luckier I get?
As a captain who has quite a bit of experience being over-aggressive in a Pommern... yeah, that Pommern captain messed up, and didn't want to own up to it. Chasing a cruiser that's faster than you and you don't overmatch into open waters when you *know* there are destroyers out there is a bad plan, he should've turned South alongside Sir Sinksalot.
Tenuous grasp of reality seems to be quite a general thing these days.
More like "willful rejection of reality," far too often. =9[.]9=

This video sums up perfectly why people at the top of the scoreboard get reported so much, well done
Ive ran into that Pommern player before and he’s pretty consistently toxic and frankly I cant tell if he does it to troll or if he’s actually that dumb but last time I saw him he reported me for not smoking him up......in a Kleber
The Pommern is one of those players who thinks "support" means "be my meat shield"
That Pommern's charge started off good but he fell into a trap I see all too often. The target retreats to the edge of the map, and leads the pursuer into an ambush, or just so far out of position that they can't help the team. Even had to snap a little bit at one of my clan mates last week when they did the same thing.
After careful analysis of the strategic elements of this battle, I can confidently state that many ships go "Boom!"
Have you read the "Rich dad, poor dad"? The writer Mr, Robert Kiyosaki said in one of the passages that most people often blame everything else but them selves and that leads to be blinded to the fact that the problem lays within the way of their thinking. He also added that it is a lot easier to change one's self than changing the people around you; I know, the book talks about getting rich but this passage in particular applies to people in general. It is not only a problem with gaming, Jingles.
I never thought I would learn profound wisdom in the UA-cam comment section. Thanks for proving me wrong ;-)

Jingles: calls Alaska a battlecruiser

Ah shit here we go again
I mean, thats what i would call it, battleship guns on a cruiser hull. Funny enough the LEXINGTON battlecruiser is classified as a battleship, and i can see why.
He calls it a Battlecruiser to try and trigger people who get wound up by that sort of thing.
Well, it is so.....

If there are only 2 options, you do not use a comma. "Truth or fiction?" is a properly formed question in English.

If there are only 2 options listed, and those two encompass all possibilities, the answer is yes.(OR gate) If the answer can only be one of them, you need a comma to make "yes" an incorrect answer by making the single unit A or B, into a two unit either A, or B.(XOR gate)

Jingles: This failure to grasp reality has a name, its called the Dunning-Kruger Effect.
Check out the Pommern captain's stats for a laugh.
The zooming in and out of this guy aggrevates me. USE SHIFT
Pls Jingles... type "Błyskawica" into google translator and listen to it.. do it for Poland.. :) Tyrael
Great name! And very true of many co-op games; person yolos in/over extends, then blames everyone else for lack of support.
"Hi, I'm home. Did you find a job?"
No, ma."
Did you even look?"
No, ma. I was busy, playing World of Warships. What's for supper?"
It’s nice to see my clan mate being featured by jingles. Also surprised no one has caught onto our clan tag of RBMK. Not good, not great.
Refreshing the UA-cam feed in search of something interesting. Ol' mate pops up like an oasis in the desert of Co-vid depression.
I take great personal pride in reporting those that tell both teams to report.
these complex and unique names that jingles can actually pronounce right are a grave insult to the Dave community!
It's fine, he balanced it out by mangling the pronunciation of Błyskawica.
In the words of Prince Humperdinck, regarding the Pommern, "I give you full marks for bravery. Don't make yourself a fool."
You have to accept that many times Sirsinksalot kept waiting even after the reload was complete just so he could get the kill
"Look at the facts. And judge for yourself." Well I just looked at the Pommern's stats and they speak loud and clear.
his behavior speaks louder than his stats, and his behavior states that he is a poor sport
Always good to hear from Akatzuki, my own 🐈 overlord has a crush on her. Don't worry, he won't be giving her a bunch of kittens. He's been fixed and lives an ocean and 3/4 of a continent away. (Western US)
He is a big burly handsome ginger brute who looks a lot like your other 🐅. He'd probably like her too but she's less gregarious than Akatzuki and doesn't add as much to the conversation.
I really like it when people say they're gonna report me in chat because that makes it easy to return the favour.
Even better when they ask the teammates to report you, because that often means that they've already used all their reports, as people like that often seem to do. So you get to keep your karma as well in the process :D
oooh i met this guy in battle. he was on my team, great supporting player and can do well on his own too
Whenever I see the type of chat that seems to happen pretty much all the time in WoW & WoT it reinforces why I stopped playing them on PC.
Same.
And to no one's shock, Lord Nelson in the Pommern has 43.5% winrate overall with a PR of 224. By comparison, his average performance in the Pommern is practically unicum with 44k damage and a PR of 500. Given that he was throwing criticisms around in chat I think it's perfectly fair to draw attention to his stats and marvel at the fact he clearly knows nothing. With a sample size of over 3500 battles I think it's perfectly valid to make those claims.
He should be well used to losing, then.
I used to play WoWS a lot, but I realized I wanted less sanity-challenged teammates, so I'm mostly playing coop games with friends or solo these days.
I swear I always experience a funny chain of events from watching a Jingles video. Namely I get reinterested in WoWs, install the game and play a few matches, then immediately remember why I stopped playing the game and uninstall it, all in about a day or so. Its like an endless cycle of rage and salt that the evil gnome perpetuates. Ah well off to the salt mines to reinstall the game, again.
18 seconds in and already Jingles says "On tears of the Cruisers map" Abuse of the report system, why would anyone be surprised.
Being it t10 battle, cruisers die first here usually - hence the name :D
PSA: save a mouse wheel - use the shift key... that is all.
Well my 2 cents given SGTJROY is a 4k games 43% 224PR (how can anyone be this bad???) player nothing he says ever is of any value whatsoever in regards to WoWS. That Blyska too has nearly identical stats @2k games and played as one would expect. SGTJROY is perhaps the single best example of the Dunning-Kruger effect in action I've ever come across, thanks Jingles.
That scroll zoom though
The Pommern captain might have thought somehow that pressing the SOS-key repeatedly would enable Sir Sinkalot to pull off a magicly high reload and kill all the ships that were pointing at his sorry broadside in an instance. Wrong presumption equals wrong version of the facts. "Please, let's all report Sir Sinkalot for not living up to my unrealistic expectations or die trying." I think that option should be included in WoWs with the ones filing this complaint instantenously having their ships turned into sailing faireygrounds for the next ten battles with a big flag on top of it, saying: "Please hit me, cause I'm an ass. deserving of a paddlin'"
the fun thing is that ppl think that reporting someone is going to actualy change something hahaha
I know right, honestly i don't even think the system even works. Its just their for people to vent rage.
It does do something, it hurts peoples feelings :(
Now I'm not saying I can statistically understand the Pom's response to being supported as well as possible without his support being suicidal, but it seems to be a statistically common thing for him.
Still not as golden as the guy who demanded everyone report me in the Caracciolo for cheating because I... had 3 kills and have a consumable called a heal fairly common to battleships? Yknow, ignoring the Kamikaze on my team also on 3 kills that topped be by a wide margin. Never change NA
Truth or Fiction?
That Jingles is a great UA-camr?
Well he is a UA-camr so I'm leaning towards truth.
I'm pretty sure that the Pommern never got annoyed at Sir_sinks_alot, and only raged at the Ibuki and Nelson. Say, I live alone. Why are there footsteps?
EDIT: Nvm I just reached 12:08
That Pommern captain reminds me of the kemp bush/unfair plane guy from world of tanks. Both are equally delusional.
Well, it's pretty clear that the Pommern is completely oblivious to what happens in the battle, and when he died simply looked at the team mates around him and through a temper tantrum. Really just look at the amount of "decisions" he made. He sailed in an almost straight line from spawn, into A, and was headed into the enemy spawn when he died spamming "requesting support". The only changes were him maneuvering to avoid islands and torpedoes. I doubt he ever even changed his throttle from the moment he set it to full at the start of battle. If you hid chat and told me he was a bot I would believe you. Of course there is still some hope, it's still possible for someone to learn after all, but considering that when he died his first instinct was to blame his team members. I wouldn't hold my breath.
the only mistake that SirSinkAlot did was around 6:37 where he backed up behind the island and hesitated, preventing him from killing the buffalo when the buffalo turned around, but i'm pretty sure the pommern didn't saw that.
Sheesh, that Pommern captain was a bloody koala.
That Pom captain was saltier than the Sea he sailed on.
"Just the fact ma'am, just the facts".
This guy's zooming in and out is making me dizzy. I know changing zoom lengths is a unicum thing to do, but this guy seems to be doing it way more than other players I watch on UA-cam or Twitch.
Glad I'm not the only one. I seem to remember a WoT video Jingles abandoned after about a minute for something similar a few weeks ago.
Guess Pommerns definition of "support" is get them to fire at you rather than him and since the three he accuses of being poor players were alive and not him, they weren't "supporting" hard enough.
Do people submitting replays to this channel intentionally only use the scroll wheel for zoom now, since Jingles said it was infuriating?
No complaints about scroll zooming yet? Wtf happened? Playerbase is finally potato.
I wouldn't take criticism too seriously from a player whose average damage is less than the health of a tier 8 destroyer...
i always look in the lineup to see if maybe I'm on one of the teams and don't embarrass myself in battle
Ive never played WOW but i think a cool addition to the maps would be different depths of water between islands sure you can take a battle ship through 2 brothers but the channel is even more narrow and difficult to traverse especialy if you dont have good turning radius or shallows that deep torpedos cant be shot across but destroyers can still get over and launch standard torpedos. This would also bring the expansion of water displacement and depth of keel on each ship and allow storms to hit shallow keel ships in open water harder and punish the manuverability or even "stun" the crew retarding every aspect of the ship due to fear
Reminds me of a match I had playing WoT console about a month ago. Me and my friend who both are average joes at the game were playing our German tier X heavies. We didn't have a great match but we weren't exactly bad either. Me in particular had 3 kills, about 3k damage and about 1k blocked. Another guy who statistically was better with a 59 percent win rate decides to message me and complain that me and my friend were useless and didn't participate in the match. I told him to check the scoreboard since I was 4th on the team. But he insisted that there wasn't any helping me or my friend. I get some ppl want to be really good at a game, but just cause you "think" another person is doing bad doesn't mean you should get angry at them or in the case of Pommern, try to report them for it.
That mouse scrolling is horrible. Is your SHIFT key dead🙄☹️
My friends son has a habit of zooming forward, getting in crossfires, yelling at us that we are not "supporting" him, then dying 4 minutes in, only to rage-quit.
Almost like clockwork.
dang it im 1 min late lol love the vids jingles and i love the alaska mostly bc my grandfather was in the usaf for 24 years stationed in alaska
yeah they all did great capping and charging in for the first cap. but after sinking the gneisenau they should have paused for a sec and heal up as much as possible and go on after that
Jingles, that Pommern Captain must be related to Leroy.
Seems like Sgtjroy was the one in dire need of being reported as playing poorly.
There's a reason why Pommern is called Tirpitz 2.0...
I had a recent match (nowhere near as good as this match), where I was playing the Z39. I spent the entire match fighting, with two cruisers who spawned there, to prevent the enemy from taking the furthest south cap on Trap. I was opposed by a Shiratsuyu, who, of course, outspots me, plus cruisers in support. This Gneisenau comes down, gets torp'd by one of the cruisers, a Hipper, and then acts like I haven't been trying to fight for the cap, while letting three ships get killed, and only when things are in our favor, getting involved.
Just watched the replay, he did not get into action for a full five minutes.
Holy Shit! Jingles said SirSinkzAllot(Which is me) And I was like WHAT!?! Than I saw it was an alaska.. I dont have an alaska.. didn't know there was another sir-sinksALOT😅
I was accused of doing the same thing as the Nelson in my Scharnhorst a while back. Tier IX battle and I knew damn well that if I didn't hang back I would be dead very quickly since I'm not a Bismarck.
The asshat accused me and another bottom tier player of throwing the game, saying that I had "turtleback armor and secondary spec to deal with everything".
Checked his stats and he had 14k battles played with a 45% winrate, and somehow didn't understand how the Scharnhorst is best put to use. 😂
My interpretation of the facts is that toasted bagels with a Jingles video makes a really satisfying breakfast
Minimap and situation awareness.
I just hope that one day the Pommern captain sees this video...
