Hi there! You are the only one mechanic that i found service this fork! I have a manitou axel elite ffd and the rebound side has a broken retain. Would you make another video showing that side to see how its assembly? Thanks! Or if you have some manual of this fork i appreciatte
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and publishing it my friend. I maintained my Manitou Axel and your video helped me a lot! Even so, I forgot to put the dust caps on the rubber seals and I didn't see that to release the Allen 8mm hexagon the direction is clockwise. Then I redid the work and now it's smooth as new! Greetings from Brazil
Thanks for the video. I have a question for you, inside one of the suspension legs there is a metal washer, I lost track of which one the washer is in, can you help me please? Thanks.
Hi, without knowing the exact model and year of fabrication, I can not help you. Try to search for a photo pr diagram like this with your actual model www.mtbr.com/attachments/axel-internals-jpg.119492/
Hi, I have the same fork, but it gets stuck at times, but when I hit it hard on the ground, it gets stuck, but it still doesn't go all the way and it's stuck half way through, and I give it another time, just as hard, and it unlocks, but after some time, it stops again block please if you know you can help me
You should screw back the bolt halfway, place back the allen key into the bolt, and hit the allen key with a hammer, to separate the lower leg from the upper leg. This should be done on both sides. If you do this maintenance regularly than it separates more easily, if this is the first service after a long time, than the parts could be sealed up a little bit, takes more time, and effort, but it should come loose nicely. Just make sure that the bolt is screwed back at least halfway so you cant damage the threads.
Mahalo mate😊tip on not to use degreaser really saved me! Kudos and thank you again 😊

Great video! May i ask, what can cause the fork to bottom out? Ive adjusted the knob and the response is the same. Is something broken inside?
@@ryanc6767 Hi, the spring is the problem, is made for s certain kg, and if you are over that, than it's bottoms out. Need a stiffer spring
Is this shock similar to the Minute shock?

You probably have problem with the notion control in thr right leg. Can you lock and unlock the fork with the knob on the top of the right leg?
When you said “put the 12 mm halfway and hit”. What do I hit? I couldn’t get the bottom half of the forks off
