I emulate Ricky's style of putting, best clinic he's put on with someone. Ricky your public speaking has come so far and it let's your personality come through, great job.
Actually, she doesn't. Look at what she did. If you hold it at 2, when you pull the disc back she cocked her wrist more and her hand was at 12 o'clock. This is actually the most important part of the put. This little snap is where you get a lot of power. You wrist may only move an inch or so. The problem is when you start at 2 o'clock to get the power you need to rotate to 12 o'clock to get the power in the snap and this little movement introduces a bit of inconsistency. Try pre-loading your wrist, hold at 12 so you don't need to rotate your wrist back on the back swing. This little tip took me a long time to figure out and it made all the difference. At 25' I now shoot 90% or better.
Love the tutorial I've seen huge improvements in my putting game using Ricky's stance. Two champions of putting is quite the treat. Keep up the good work
This video helped me so much. Thank you very much, Ricky and Paige! Anyone who criticizes their public speaking should try to explain how to putt to a crowd of people and see how it goes.
1:10 Answering a question about wrist spin "I think a good visual example is just never having your fingers going farther than parallel with the pole. If my fingers are breaking right at the pole, my disc is gonna come out over there. So just have your fingers at the pole *every time* ."
Ty Paige for that very last comment about the body working together in relation to the basketball shot....it works well for my son...I feel as if I am one of the best putters in the world making a high percentage from 100 but I put perpendicular to the basket...never moving anything but my arm and wrist...the only adjustment I ever make is turning my feet more open the further out I go..like a clock...I never could get as accurate outside of the circle as I wanted to back when I squared off to the basket...I do use my energy from moving back and forth in my legs...idk understand why people don’t use this technique more bc it eliminates a ton of mechanics...again, ty to the both of you!
One thing that I've seen a lot of clinics forget about putting is selecting the right putter for you. I feel that is also important because there are overstable and understable putters.
Also, how a disc fits the hand is important. We are all built differently and have different hand sizes. This video was very good covering the major points they addressed.
Thanks for the tips. Please be more concise and less repetitive. And for god's sake, throw the disk! All can be accomplished in one you-tube segment. Thank you.
Paige is Ricky's translator.
I thought the same thing!!
lobadale15 kinda stuttering a lot
yea theyre not the greates public speakers lol
Mech0p paige is great. Ricky, not so much
I'm sure Ricky appreciates your useless rude comments. Get up and run a clinic yourself if you can do it better.

Fingers at the pole ..great tip! Thanks Paige!!
Holding at 2oclock really helped. Thanks Paige!
I was thinking the same thing. That advice was money!

@@rogerhuston8287 I think the 2 o’clock she’s talking about is at the release, not the cocked position.
Really informative and well done. Ricky and especially Paige explains things really, really well. Thanks so much Ricky and Paige.
Putting in slow motion! Great tip thanks Ricky!

Thank you for the video. All good points made. How about something on putter grip options? When / why? Thank you.
Well done Rick and Paige...good stuff
Is "herky-jerky" being added to the list of disc golf terms? Because it should be.
barry schultz says it on an old pro tip video

got it Ricky, built the momentum... But it's so hard to go slow , when you when you start a putt or throw ... lol
Was sold as soon as he said Herky Jerky
Herkey-Jerkey... My new Fantasy Football Name.
Luv Paige great shit..
Vital points. Nice clinic.
How about doing a putt?
you're made from spare parts aren't ya bud
Paige is a good teacher.
Perfect match.
They finally threw one!
I removed the herky jerky from my putting, now I've decreased my handicap by 6
No disrespect, but Paige is such a better teacher and communicator.
I'll keep that in mind Paige, hand inside the basket, ty.
Ricky low key does coke 😂🤣
22 minutes, a total of three throws of which one was to show how not to release the disc.
I demand a 30 minute refund.
