- This was not the end to the day that anyone wanted. After a successful mission retrieving my drone from the top of a tree, Jesse, Juddy, & I were on our way home having a blast through some forest trails when tragedy struck. JD gave the MT a bit too much stick before a corner then unfortunately a semi grippy surface caused him to highside the bike and hit the ground hard. The poor bike went end for end. JD had sustained some nasty injuries so we called for an ambulance to get him out. Please leave a supportive comment below, he's going to be off the bike for a fair while and the MT is going to take a lot of coin to repair.

JD, you are one tough dude. We could see the hurt in your eyes man, big off and glad you are ok, ?? Bloody motorbikes as they say can’t be further from the truth but it’s what we do with no regrets. Glad you got out ok and the support from Josh and Juddy would have been a great help knowing you were going to get help and the whistle. All the best with the recovery man. That’s a solid off. If you’ve fully detached the AC joint at least they’ll get it back together. I had a grade 3 AC about 4 years ago with no surgery and it still gives me grief.

Well mate. I've been in Jesse's boots before, twice. You've got to accept though, as much as you don't want it to happen, if you play with fire, expect to get burnt. But that decision as to if you want an ambulance is a BIG one. First time I rode home with broken ribs, had a kick start the 450 to get home. 2nd time I gave in, broken ribs and a punctured lung was too much for me to handle and after an hour of trying to get back in the bike, an ambulance was called. 5 days in hospital followed 😂

Get well JD! I managed to do this exact same thing in the woods last friday. Im paying for it now but I was luckier than you I think? Time will tell but it seems as I got off with only pain. Ribs held up. Fell on my left elbow and balanced on my head for a bit. All the pain so far is where my left elbow dug in to my ribs. My bike is fine. Barkbuster took all the impact. Also I was going slower. I hope you recover fast and get the bike sorted out!

Wow JD that could have been way worse, I hope for a speedy recovery bro, if it’s any consolation mate I fractured my collarbone and dislocated my left shoulder once, I put my shoulder back in by lifting my bike up then had to ride one armed 30km back to my car then drive 75km one armed in a manual to the hospital as I was alone, mates really come in handy, Josh and judie.

That was nasty! Coulda hit that huge tree. Dislocated shoulders are hardcore pain, glad he got the green whistle! And yes Josh it's not a misconception, 8 out of 10 paramedics are smoke shows (even the blokes if you go that way). And bless our paramedics they are absolute top tier humans who should be paid more but that's a discussion for other places. Get well JD.

Serious? I thought it was quite good. A GoPro in that kind of light wouldn't have produced any usable footage I don't think. But also I didn't have the Insta on 'pure video' which is the low light setting, pretty much works well enough IMO without faffing about changing it 🤷♂
@MVDBR GoPro would have been good for audio only, terrible in low light.
I reckon the PureVideo mode on the ACE Pro would have been mint from when the Ambo turned up.
Would be great if you ever get a chance to record again at night.
