FGW Night Riviera Departing Penzance Station | 57604 | 17/12/11

After a VERY early start from plymouth the Night riviera arrives at the final stop Penzance. After a quick nip into the cap and then a dash to the end of the platform here we see the sleeper train backing up into Long Rock. - it was an amazing trip and the first time i been on this service.

Really good. I have traveled in a MKIII Caledonian sleeper. And MKIII coaches are brilliant anyway.

I am very lucky as I see the morning version of this train as it passes my home but I don't see the night time penzance -london train tho

It's about a mile from Penzance staion to Long Rock depot

Maximum permitted speed for propelling movements is 20mph, but depends what the line speed is. Not sure on the distance though.

is this leaving to go to the depo in longrock as its still light and the loco is at the back
