The guys of SilverBaX Media catch up with Mr. Bagley and talk to him about comics. He talks about the comic that stared his love up to his new project with DC.
You have the greatest uncle in the history of greatest uncles. Tell him how much I admire him, please, please! He is my favorite Spider-Man artist and artist in general. Thank him so much for so many great moments. I strive to be if only half as great as him.
Thanks for posting this! I had never seen what he looks like before. I give Bagley partial credit for getting me into comic books. I picked up a trade paperback of USM volume 13 and I was just sucked in. I spent the next few months catching up on the entire series. I love Bendis's writing and Bagley's art just seemed so perfect. He's still pretty much my favorite artist and I miss seeing his work on USM.
Funny, I met him in comic con 2008. I recognized his art but not him. (since I havent been in the comic thing for years..) And we chatted about art and how each of us draws certain type of characters, also hinted me some tips on detail. He's a really nice guy. Glad to have met him, and I still have his autorgraphed prints up in my room.
Mark Bagley is my idle. I'm an artist myself and I constantly say to myself "If Mark Bagley wouldn't like it, then neither should I" and that's why I hate my art work... :/
Hellz Yeah! I miss Mark Bagley doing Spider-Man titles... the new artists just don't draw Spidey like they should... maybe he'll come back to marvel...
samoanheat1 I grew up near him, and went to school with his daughter. He actually did a sketch for me, in the early 90s.. wish i still had it. He is actually a nice, cool guy. Not a douchebag. lol
Ultimate Spider-Man was the first comic I ever read. To this day, Mark Bagley's arts inspires me, and he's definately my favorite artists.
I love this man so much.
Particularly his 90's Spider-man, but I'm always so happy to see his art. It totally shaped my childhood!
Mark is the reason why I live spiderman more than any characters not just comicks him and micheal bendis run on ultimate was amazing!
Yea it was amazing I loved the run
"Wonder Woman's fun to draw too" yeah I know 😂

Love this and love this man’s work.
I admire Mark’s work. I absolutely love the way he draws Spider-Man
This man draws the definitive Spider-Man, the definitive Venom, the definitive Carnage etc. He's a god.

Such a humble and talented man. God bless.
Mark Bagleys Spider-Man work in the 90's was incredible.
Honestly one of the few good things about Spider-Man in the 90s was his art.

I was only 10 years old when I saw his artwork and he's been my inspiration to draw ever since!
Mark Bagley is the reason why I fell in love with the Spider-Man story in the first place... his drawings are just incredible
i want him to be my mentor
His New Warriors stuff was awesome. Check out his run there, some of his best stuff.
I first saw comicbook Spiderman in 1997...it was Bagley's.....that was it,THIS IS Spiderman for me!
I always loved his work in Amazing SM through the 90's...I still have the entire 1994 Amazing SM card set he did :D
Mark is clearly the best Spider-man comic artist EVER. My favorite work of his however is his run on New Warriors.
I Agree totally with the first 2 but, for the 3rd in my opinion, is Steve Ditko :3
What was the spiderman poster from the back
i prefer his amazing spiderman artwork from the 90s that was the best comic art ive ever seen. ultimate is great also
I actually prefer his work on the Amazing Spider-Man during the 90s more than his stuff on USM (even though I still like that too.).
Great artist!!!!
Gabriel P. Ikr

I see the Spider-Man 3: The Black comic 0:10
@Mark Bagley i wish you were good at drawing Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man and Tom Holland’s Spider-Man and Spider-Man PS4.
bagley, mcniven
Hellz Yeah! I miss Mark Bagley doing Spider-Man titles... the new artists just don't draw Spidey like they should... maybe he'll come back to marvel...
@gyurcika93 i liked him better when he was drawing ASM but he draws god in ultimate too.
K.
i'd say that mark bagley and john byrne and todd mcfarlane are the best spider-man artists, not romitas or anyone else.
I tried to get a sketch from this guy
in my sketch book & he refused.
He was kind of a douche bag about it.
