    I know baseball is a "slow moving" game, but that is exactly what allows for dramatic tension filled moments like this. The drama keeps building and building and building. You simply cannot get this in any other sport. You simply can't.....

    • @Budgie510
      @Budgie510 7 років тому +10

      So true! I hate when people say "Oh baseball is too slow and boring...." So exciting, and there's a reason it is America's favorite past time.

    • @armagetronfasttrack9808
      @armagetronfasttrack9808 7 років тому +2

      But you can tho. Look at the 2014 World Cup final. It was just constant anxiousness for one of the teams to finally score, and they did in the 113th minute during the second OT.

    • @Budgie510
      @Budgie510 7 років тому +2

      True, and sudden death penalty kicks in soccer are exciting and very dramatic. But soccer is still faster than baseball, so with all the waiting time and pitches, I still give baseball the edge.

      thats my favorite part about baseball. when my favorite team is in a tight spot and they come through. you go from shitting bricks to yelling in excitement.

    When Gardner came up, I grabbed my Yankee hat put it on and prayed. Wow did I go nuts when he hit a double! GO BOMBERS!

    • @trevoralley2503
      @trevoralley2503 7 років тому

      Bchig 510 😂 I sorta did the same thing. I just crossed my fingers for 9-10 minutes then went nuts after the 2 run double especially when Lindor couldn’t catch the ball.

    • @fse2520
      @fse2520 4 роки тому +1

      Same, I was praying. The reason why is because I was so scared Chapman would not get through the 9th.

    Not just the biggest hit of Brett Gardner's career; it's a 10 minute long showcase of what kind of ballplayer the South Carolina walk-on has proven to be. Everything before the RBI base knock is so fitting.

    Man, Matt Vasgersian really blew the call on the second run. Called him Gardner, and then said "a moment of hesitation" led to the run, which isn't what happened at all.
