FC had it all; fast paced moving stories, mixture of drama and subtle comedy, action, mystery, great chemistry between all the actors. Up until the eight season when they replaced Melissa with that awful carbon copy Pilar Ortega character, FC was the show!
"Don't you have a wall in your own apartment that can handle that?" LOL. What's worse than freeloading relatives; freeloading imposter relatives I guess!
Word! Ha! Ha! My Mother's Best Girlfriend (RIP) had Family in her House over the Years but she made sure they never looked at her "Private Property". In fact one of them went upstairs into her Grand Suite Bedroom and one opened the Door and there was a Note that said "What The F Do You Want!" Tom Ripley was like that and he wasn't "Fam". Even when Freddy Miles made a snide remark about Tom's Living Arrangements, Marge told him about The Ski Trip To Cortino and he wasn't invited and even Dickie wanting to leave and go somewhere else, he told him it would be like a farwell but Tom didn't listen.
In The "Original" Tales Of The City, Michael Tolliver's Parents visited him in San Francisco, Ca, during Halloween Weekend and they did a tour and they talked about Vertigo and Kim Novak. It was in 1976 and Michael's Parents had no idea their Son was Gay.
It kind of parallels when Marge Sherwood told Tom Ripley about the Ski Trip to Cortino and she pretty much told him he wasn't invited and that "The Gravy Train Ride Is Over".
If there is one thing I hate is how "Family" over step and over stay their welcome. When they visit sometimes they don't even have a Dollar to their name.
You know what would have been real "Sick" is if Angela decided to Throw a Party for Skyler and make an announcement about how wonderful it is to have Family but most of all, how important to expand one's horizions.
Word! Kit/Skyler didn't know that Angela was very "territorial" when it came to The Falcon Crest Home. I would have said "How do make your living, being away from Work for some time must annoy your Boss."
Angela was so Bad@ss. This was the second time I saw her going over the Accounts. The other time was when Lance & Melissa tried to do business with Angela using The Agretti Vineyards.
@@laminage From what I understand by this time KN only did acting part-time and had been as such since the mid 1960s; as of now her last acting role to date was in 1991. Her primary career has been in painting and sculpting, so it also may have been not wanting to return to acting as a full time career. As for Wyman, I don't doubt her being intimidating , although the few interviews I've seen her on (Gary Collins AM Magazine) she seems quite friendly, humble and generous; but I don't doubt she would get upset if someone showed up late or didn't kin their lines letter-perfect! KN was always a free-spirit, so the two might have clashed in that area.
@@ericnelson9100 she didn't need to work her last husband who died last year was pretty shrude financially, did it occasionally until she lost interest completely
@@ericnelson9100 Thanks for the info. Other folks who are Sculptors was Victoria Wyndham (Ex Rachel Cory Another World 1972-1999) and even Paul McCartney's Only Son James is a Sculptor as well.
"You're been foolish" That deadpan wit raised Falcon Crest above all other soaps.

Jane was Brilliant. RIP
Kim is Magnificent. She held her own in every scene.
Loved Kim Novak in the series, Jane Wyman was incredible as Angela, those one liners-classic!!
Kim is sill so beautiful. She could play any part . shes so great.💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
Two Great Actresses.
Jane RIP
I love her husky, whispering voice : I´m Skyler..
She was a Fraud from Day One. Angela was Straight "A" Gangsta, never overstep your place at Falcon Crest. Melissa Agretti found that out the hard way.

Season 3, 6 and 7 of falcon crest was top notch.

The Name Of The Artist was also mentioned in Ripley's Game starring John Malkovich.

Love KN.

Even if Kit wasn't a fraud, Skylar was only a step-daughter, former one too! There was really no point in having her stay to begin with!
She played on Peter's compassion and sympathy.
I can understand how peeved Angela was. If you're not going to be present for Dinner, do the common courtesy and call.
Angela is the ultimate you know what's it. 🤬🤬

Novak was asked to return to the show, but she declined.
Why, it's not like she was in any kind of high demand, that would have been a big boost to her career, not to mention steady paycheck!
@@ericnelson9100 Maybe there was backstage Drama. Also Jane was known to be a perfectionist and may have been quite intimidating to work with.
