Nice one Robin, I have visited Mull twice, once recently on motorbikes and with my brother on a road trip in 86 and I shall recall a little tale from that trip. It was torrential rain and we dived into a village pub where we enjoyed the best fish pie ever had to this day. We asked where can we camp, " the grave yard " they said. So we pitched amongst the old stones and went to the small theatre. It was raining so hard on the tin roof you could not hear a word spoken in the play.
    Memories.
    Cheers Robin.

Oooft, don't think I could camp on an old Hebridean graveyard. 😅 I'm sure I seen a sign post for a small threatre, probably the same one. 🤔

Nice wee outing for you both. Mull is lovely. Great pictures of the otter, what a treat. I’ve still never seen one in the wild!
I’m a gardener and robins are nicknamed the gardeners friend. They come sit on the handles of my spade/fork when I’m working away, hoping for some worms to be dug up! When my old man passed away couple years back, a wee robin came and sat next to me every day for weeks at my front door. Makes me smile even now.
Lovely film mate, looked like a nice wee break.
    Cheers

Just came across your video and it takes us back to our trip to Mull last year. We also walked to the lighthouse, the coastal path at Calgary Bay and around Aros park. We also have a UA-cam channel to document our travels around Scotland and beyond in our motorhome but are just novices at the moment. We have subscribed to your channel to enjoy seeing where you get to next. Happy & safe travels. Irvine & Karen.

This video made me laugh more than once! No tent pitch?! Disappointed Robin. The otter looked so nice, I'd love to see one in the wild. I was actually meant to go to Mull and climb Ben More last weekend with a friend but we were going to share a car so had to cancel. Glad you managed to get out there.

Haha. Cheers Cam, hopefully get the tent out again soon. 😁 Go up Arthur's Seat, there's one in the top loch, we seen it last weekend. 😉

Is the Mrs not a big fan of being on camera? And to be an obnoxious viewer...that otter was a "river" otter. The UK doesn't have true sea otters, even ours that live along the coast in salt water are the same that live inland in freshwater. Sea otters only live along the Pacific Ocean north-west of the PNW of the US and Alaska. Really cool to see one though...saw my one and only wild otter on the Columbia River in Washington...very cool experience. Great video...enjoyed ut

Nah Nicola prefers to takes a backseat and let me do all the talking.
Correct, a Eurasian Otter to be precise, the otters that prodominitly live at sea around the coast of the UK I believe are slightly bigger than the UK fresh water inhabitants , probably due to their diet. Beautiful creatures, so chuffed to get some nice pics and footage.

I saw quite a few sea otters off the Alaskan coast on a holiday there in 2002. Very chilled out creatures, just lolling about on their backs in the water. 😎
