Hi! Just found this while looking for Tieks! I own multiple pairs of both. Imho.. Tieks are way more comfy! I feel like Rothys look dressier and feminine! That being said, I DO love them both.! Thanks for the review!!

Debating on the Tieks...and I watched an enormous amount of UA-cam videos, and you are the first to comment on the wear/tear. Soooo don’t want to invest in a shoe that’s gonna be junk in a few months. So thanks for the honesty!

You should try the new crocs (don't judge yet) that look similar, but are crocs material... but don't LOOK like crocs. I get SO many compliments on mine and people are honestly SHOCKED when I tell them they're crocs, hahahaha. I get mine at the Crocs outlet near me. They rubbed a little but once you get them worn in they're magic. They are my go to. They have similar shapes/styles as popular flats like Rothys. :)

mandi white definitely travel friendly! they are essentially all fabric material with a flat sole, so they lay VERY flat!
They are VERY travel friendly! They flatten out to practically nothing but still keep their shape. :)

Do you find tieks breathable in the summer months?

@@costola1640 oh, didn't realise the rothys weren't as breathable! How often do have to wash the insoles? Do you wear them barefoot or wear a no show sock?
Jane Mc I wear them barefoot! I was them more often if I’m wearing them when it’s wet outside. or muddy. But usually if it’s dry and i’m not wearing them to do a ton of work (like days where i’m not shooting a wedding) i really only wash them when i want to! sometimes they can start to stink like stinky feet because they are made from recycled material and are not as breathable, but i toss them in the wash with my darks and they come out brand new. i wash the whole shoe, not just the insoles.
Costola thank you. It’s good then that they are machine washable, a God send! Do the tieks material cause you to have smelly feet as much when wearing them?
They do not smell as bad but they do smell. i think i just have stinky feet 😂 but you can’t wash the tieks and honestly they showed so much wear and tear for only having them for a year! too expensive for them to look like that. rothys look brand new after having them for more than a year now!

If you hear have a pair of tieks check the inside. They tear at the toe on the inside. I’m 69 years old and I’ve never spent this much on a pair of shoes. My daughter bought them for my birthday. Not worth the price!!l

Alexis Cordero i get that! which is why i’m saying that even if you pay full price, you should still get these shoes. esp if you’ve always had issues wearing flats. i’ve personally never been able to wear flats and tieks were the first flats that were comfortable but NOTHING compares to the rothys. they’re like slippers! anyway, just didn’t want you to think i’m trying to sell you something. just trying to help. 😎
