Man, all these people in the comments complaining about kerning, etc don't realise just how much work was put into this. This is _the_ best Marvel Studios logo tutorial, and you've really gone out of your way this time to make it as helpful as possible.
For clarity: When you render the "MARVEL" bit, it should be rendered as "RGB+Alpha" so the black background is transparent and can be replaced with red
When you have been wondering how the MCU opening was done for years and became obsessed with it for the last weeks and you find this video.... THANKSSSSSSS ^^
HI. I am very grateful for your UA-cam video and material. There is one question. I did it on UA-cam video, but the last background is only in black. Could you let me know why?
At 15:13 I can't scale the material in the selected polygon, instead of the polygon it selects the whole word and the yellow grid won't pop up even though i made sure that it is in polygon mode before clicking texture.. what should i do?
Reposting since my reply on a different thread doesn't seem to be showing up to people... So I too had the same problem but figured it out! We all likely have later versions of Cinema 4D where the options got changed for UV. I am using S22.016 for reference. In the top right corner where it says layout, you should be in "startup". Change that to "BP - UV edit". Select the polygon tool on the left bar (just like in the video), and select the material on the right (next to the triangles.) At the top near move/scale/rotate, click UV Transform. This should show a highlighted box to the left. Now you can use that in conjunction with material tag settings (for offset/length) in the bottom right corner to do everything he does in the video! Hope this helps.

Hey grant! This tutorial is amazing! Love your work but just wondering is there any way I could bring the ‘MARVEL’ text closer together? I noticed your characters are a bit spaced out than the original Marvel one. I know you said this isn’t 100% screen accurate but just curious to know how to push the characters together, thanks! And keep up the incredible work!
what you can do to make this even better is - 1. in blender its called bavel. you should "bavel" more the 3d model of the marvel studios logo. 2 - low down a little the light under your model so you can see a darker spot on the down corner just like on marvel's version 3 - the "STUDIOS" text is a bit "rounded" and the one from marvel is more square if you get what i mean 4 - and the same anisotropic brushed metal material you should put it on studios but way more light all this changes are suttle but reallllllly helps you sell even more the effect. by the way congratulations man you've done a miracle on this one! and i'm sorry to interfear i don't understand much of after effects, i just understand much of 3d skskskskks. sorry for my bad english i am not practicing anymore. and if you do this changes just put on the pack because they don't change nothing on the tutorial but you know that

Thanks, I'll try it ^^ Another solution I found was to directly make the background in After effects after the cinema 4d Model is imported (as there is no background, there is nothing behind the model, so you can make the background with a solid)
