I read that he was found by a friend on Monday afternoon. No one had heard from him so that is probably when someone went to check on him. He lived alone. I think he actually passed on Sunday. Reports are saying he died of natural causes. There is not much on the reports. I guess we will hear more later. He was about 56 years old. I too was/am shocked and hurt by this news. It brought me to tears. He was one of my favorite singers/producers. Usually Facebook is blasting with posts about celebrities, but sadly not much was even posted with my friends. In fact, I did not see any. :(

Then rap music destroyed everything….not Kurtis Blow….he just gave the heads “up” on what was coming….or starting. Fast forward 2023 everything is still beautiful you just have to fine it!

Nothing can duplicate theearly eighties old school r & b soul disco.. All of it is great. From Howard Johnson to the Jones Girls,Starguard,Frankie Smith,Africa Bambaata Soul Sonic Force...anything from 1979 to 83 is wonderful. Take any LP. You might find in a thrift store from this time..and you will most likely love ALL the songs[including] the songs that never charted.
