BigAir Louvered Container Vents (sizes: 30, 45 & 60), come with a marking guide to make cutting a hole as easy as possible! Rivets and self-tapping screws are also included (we recommend using rivets).
A minimum of two vents are required per container for temperature & moisture control in temperate climates. Four vents per container are suggested in tropical climates. For HAZMAT ventilation, two vents installed high and two vents installed low is suggested. Customer's responsibility to ensure OSHA compliance when storing hazardous materials.

I like that design with the additional mesh screening on the interior. That is basically what we added to existing vents on our home in Arizona. Our dryer vent for example, scorpions were getting in there, so we added the screen to the back and sealed it really well. The scorpions often follow crickets into areas like this, adding the mesh is really the best we can do from a structural standpoint. Good Job!

Just so we are clear, here in the south the bug screen is MANDITORY! We have a huge amounts of small bugs, ants, termites, ect.

Love this video. I have a question: Are these necessary if I'm insulating my container? I plan on steel stud framing, spray foaming, and greenboard drywalling my containers. If i do need to install it, do i frame around it?? Hope that question makes sense. Thanks!

How would you go about ventilating a shipping container being used as a garden room? Is having an AC enough?
I just bought 4 of the vents and overall am pleased with just about everything with them. However, the template is off and required modification. It’s too small by about 1/4”. This may have been caused by the duplication process. Often during the copying of an original, the copier reduces the image in order to not lose anything printed close to to an edge on the original. On subsequent runs if a copy is used, the image becomes smaller yet. As a former Xerox tech, this was not uncommon to see. Small issue, great product.

I ordered the big 40s but did not get the bug vents. I ordered them with out by mistake. Are the bugs screens available separately?
What about snow on the bottom Vent ? Would it hurt much to raise it up a bit?
Yeah installing it a foot above the floor would be fine.
If I understand correctly one model 45 on the rear end (top) and the other on the lower side of the 40 ‘ container.
Honestly, from what we've found, you can put two (with cross-flow) pretty much anywhere and they'll make a significant improvement.
