@flim I don't know what you meant by you people but I can honestly say that I highly respect my mother and she would not tolerate me talking to her that way. What kind of mother allows her child misbehave, threaten her life and not take control of situation? Race has nothing to do with the situation the mother is weak and needs to grow backbone. There are parents of all colors that have this problem which often results in that child growing up to be a piss poor adult or worse harming there own parents. This type of behavior is a strong indicator that he may grow up to be an abusive father and husband. He will find a weak minded woman to prey on and the cycle continues. OMG! How horrid! Thank God for Dr. Phil! I listened to him for years when my meth addicted step son who was so destructive and the family just kept protecting him. Now 15 years later, after getting caught bringing a lb of meth over the Florida line. Thank God the cops caught him. He has finally been sentenced to 20 years and I just sighed in relief. Thank you, Dr. Phil! You taught me about bait and switch, and I was so much more prepared over time.

My son was standing next to the couch when he said he wanted to kill me so bad that he could see it in his mind. He went on to say that he would start at my feet and then work his way up my body to crush my bones and then break my knees and femurs. Then he would cut my stomach open and pull out my guts, crush my fingers and ribs. I was literally terrified that he would kill me if he had the chance to do it with a axe or a hammer. He basically just wanted me dead and suffering as much as possible because of a car accident that wasn’t my fault. I grabbed the phone to call 911 to get help and he said “oh brother you can’t even handle what I’m saying to you?” I said “no I can’t handle it because it’s insane to think you can just kill somebody and then life goes on like always.” He is the apple of my eye and I love him so much that I’m overwhelmed with the conflicting emotions that he’s going through. 😢

Why would they let him still live at home and play the victim, if that behaviour has a regular occurrence??? They are just as guilty as he is. They actually deserve each other. I have an 18-year-old son that I have been raising as a single mom and he knows very well that we don't raise our voices to each other, if we have anything that needs to be solved, we talk about it lovingly. Having said that, I started to present the same behaviour since he could understand me and have been very consistent since. It is not an easy task but if you are not prepared to parent normally, don't have children or suffer the consequences and don't play the victim.
