- One of the greatest thrashings ever handed out by Indiana in the Bob Knight era happened on January 28, 1992 against rival Purdue. The Hoosiers were ranked 4th in the country coming into this matchup and they showed why, annihilating the Boilermakers in every aspect of the game. The final score in this one was 106-65, and it could have been even bigger.

Wow. Cool to see JimmyV! I went to this game and sat in the bleachers behind the basket. Vitale said Riley and Stanback needed to have big games. Both were horrible! Purdue got revenge tho at Mackey in 1992, winning by 2.
In hindsight... Keady sounds like a dude that knows he is about to get his @$$ kicked. 🤫
