Good Day ALL i had tried fixing come issues I had and in the process had the same symptoms. Turns out it was all a coincidence. I have an 06 Uplander myself. i had the exact same problem. what seemed like full battery but nothing when you turn the key, it started just dying when driving, I would get it parked in the closest place I could coast it, then after towing it home / mechanic it would fire right up and drive for a day an hr who knows. i'm fairly mechanically inclined and did as much as I could in my driveway but to no avail. Fet up i sent it to a local shop, they called me an hr later and said that one of the computers needed to be replaced and would cost over $1000, catch was the GM dealership was the only one who could program it. only having the van for under 6 months I chose to send it to the dealership to have the work done. They said 2-3 days to complete. Next day i get a call from the service desk, YOUR VAN IS READY!!! Bill is $285 upon pick up. I said cant be the computer was a 1-2 day delivery. The lady didn't know much about it so I asked to speak to the mechanic who worked on it. I said how is my van fixed already? something isn't adding up sir. long and short of it, there were a section of wire harness discreetly under the motor that had water and heat build up which corroded/shorted the wires with in the wire chase all together. They spliced in 4 new wires and off I went. No issues since. other than the fuel pump wires burning.....but that a whole different convo. hope that helps somewhat
Joden Boudreau did he pointed out the location “I know bud I had to ask lol” got the same problem , but now it doesn’t crank at all this morning cranked but while ridding all gauges went dead so I left her on went to get some materials and baaaam no unresponsive
Im having the same issur with my 07 uplander. Did you ever find out the answer to the problem? I would really aporeciate the help. Single father raising 3 boys on his own. Desperately need this problem answered. Thanks.
I had the same problem changed out alternator starter fuse box and the PMC box under the dash still having problems. Hadn't checked grounds on transmission though
Hi guy I have the same problem and I just found the issue is the ground cables under the front manifold apparently gm genius put together all the modules grounds on this spot hopefully this help thanks
You have a bad gound. I made this mistake when I replaced the engine on my 2005. Check the large ground connection that connects to one of the bolts on the front of the transmission bell housing. In my case I forgot to reconnect the ground wire and I had the same symptoms. Dash would light up, I got several error like service soon, traction control etc on the dash and no crank. I connected to ground and all was good. You may have a loose or broken ground wire.
When you turned the key ahead to the on position I did not see the check engine light,, which usually means the computer is not alive/running. Those fuses in the area of the box that does not work,,,, is one of them for the ECM/PCM?? Or for the Main relay power ? You could apply voltage to them just to get it running, if you know what you are doing.
My question is why did you disconnect the 3 cables, I changed out my battery many times and only had to disconnect the positive and negative cable ends from the battery??😒
When you remove the battery you don’t need to disco the whole box just the cross bar and the two 10 mm nuts on the hood and yes after disconnecting from the posts first
I guarantee it’s the junction box has to be brand new and new boxes come with all the right fuses and relays just be very careful plugging in the 3 wire harnesses
I’ve had issues for as long as I’ve had 2007 Chevy uplander my pcm keeps going in a cycles . Had me chasing a ghost . Turns out my battery current sensor was on the wrong side . By that I mean it was connected around my two negative battery cables. So I took it out and placed in on the two positive battery cables and my system and voltage changed drastically . Problem solved , after countless amounts of money waisted on parts not even need. PCM gets reading from battery current sensor then sends amps through out your fuses and relays .
Check your transmission fuse pull out the power cable to the transmission then try starting your car when you start it push the cable back in and that'll tell you transmission was in getting no power
Why didn't you just take the crossbar support off and slide it out? I'd check your computer, when you turn the key, something's telling the computer to shut everything down ,a crossed or bare wire or even just a bad computer
My issue was a ground located underneath the motor close to the firewall. Once I repaired the ground, it ran perfectly. Looks like a stick or something caught it and ripped it. It's a very small wire.
@@dangar91320 I had to bring the car to a repair shop and change the whole electric box. They say it was a lot of corrosion. Hope you can fix your problem?! /Andreas
I don’t know if this is a secret among mechanics or not buts bull caca the amount of money I’ve spent in past 5 yrs for to be a battery sensor that was not working just placed on negative side , which is common on some cars but not this one apparently . 🤬🤬🤬
Those posts bend easy take a look none is bent and gently clip them back I’m willing to bet you bent a post to one of those three big clips buddy it’s easy fix

Did you solve the problem? From Sweden and have the exakt same problem...😀

First of all it's in theft mode. Red lock light is on it supposed to be a yellow unlocked light 😅
Gagh! Same problem, van has been sitting for a year now 😭

American have lights and everything working but not enough power to run the circuits
Security system needs reset unplug battery 15-20 mins. Reconnect battery. All should b well after that.
