Karl anthony towns is the only 7 footer on earth who wishes he was 5 foot 10.
No most of the 7 footers these days shoot alot of 3s. The difference is they will also show other parts of there game during a game like embiid. At least Naz Reid who is a 7 footer is hitting his 3s.

I think Luka is also a great leader now, playing hard, hitting the big shots, getting others involved. That helps Mavs a lot at the back end of games. And then you have Kyrie, who is one of the best closers in the history of the game

3. Stop having Ant take the ball up like a point guard, let Mike Conley bring the ball up and set up shots for Ant to get him easier shots instead of getting doubled at the top of the key.
4. Tell Jaden McDaniels to stop making pointless fouls on Luka. I get that he’s extremely tough to guard but those unnecessary fouls are costing you big time down the stretch

They need to run him off the ball and put him on the post or set some off ball screens for him, like they did for mj in the triangle. You can’t win a championship trying to play hero ball.

Charles made a good point in talking about Towns taking 32 shots while making only 4. He is one of the biggest player in the court so he should take it to the paint. This is a problem with taking a big who can shot a three. Most dont have the post up game to match it.

I appreciate Ant's attitude. Even when losing, he keeps his head up, stays positive, and tries to learn from it. That mentality matched with hunger to win can overcome the biggest deficit on the court and the biggest trials off the court. He still has a lot to learn, but I think he'll get his ring some year, maybe not this year but soon.

When he attacked the paint, he had a greater chance of making it.
To me this is a coaching failure for the Wolves. Anderson was giving the Wolves a spark on offense and defense but they took him out of the game. KAT actually started getting into the paint in the second half but obviously it was too late. The coach refuses to get Gobert off the floor and he’s getting killed out there on pick and rolls and isos.

Coming from a Mavs fan, I feel like this is all being overblown. Minnesota is not choking or "not adjusting." These are two evenly matched teams -- I wouldn't put any of this is on Chris Finch. This is just some absurd shotmaking from Luka and Kyrie, combined with KAT shockingly having the worst 3-game stretch of his career, despite having markedly improved his shooting through the entire regular season. Game 1 was lost by 3 points, Game 2 by 1 point, and even this game, Doncic hitting a ridiculous turnaround fadeaway over Reid's fingertips and Kyrie doing somethin similar on the next possession -- I'd give the average dude a 10% chance of hitting those shots. If KAT played even half as well as regular season KAT, this would be 3-0 or 2-1 Wolves. It's that simple. You gotta play your studs and live with the consequences. Statistically and schematically, there is no reason KAT should be shooting this poorly -- they're not defending him especially intensely. Tbh, KAT should spend his off day doing some yoga and then we might see something close to his best. Dude hasn't become a scrub overnight -- he just looks stressed and frantic and needs to calm down, get a few easy buckets, settle in, and play his game. As the saying goes, it's a make-miss league, and the Mavs just hit a few more buckets when the stakes are at their highest. That said, MAVS IN FOUR!!! Look forward to exposing the two overpaid Celtic Jays as bonafide serial chokers. Hope Lively is okay though, gonna need him if KP is back.

Lots of truth here, but they needed to pick and roll to get Ant 1-1 with Luka while on O and stop putting Gobert on an island with guards. The only way to slow down Luka on O is make him play lockdown D. Arms are a little heavier on 25 foot stepbacks when you need to guard Ant or Conley 1-1. But yeah, KAT at 30% from 3 makes this a different series. Problem is, guys like Luka and Kyrie make these shots so often it’s not them playing out of their minds, it’s just what they do. If Luka doesn’t get hurt and wins multiple chips, he’s Top 5 all-time when he retires. He’s a freaking assassin, Kobe mentality, savant passer and doesn’t rely on explosiveness. He’s the PG version of Jokic in many ways.
