Haha, crazy right? Norcal has been really weird this year regarding winning tourney bags/stringers. Seems like the Northeast has clearly surpassed Norcal regarding average kayak bass tourney winning stringers.
It's been a pretty good year up here, yeah. Two 8s were caught in our tournaments, and I might have caught a 9 (my scale wasn't working). Those are huge for MA!
Greg, thanks for watching.. The 3600 G Box.. is even better - not sure which one you got - Youv'e had a great 2017.. maybe you and I could fish 2018 some!! Be well, and If I don't see you have a wonderful holiday!
Nice win, you can't go wrong with the drop shot. I like how you stuck with it for most of the day. A lot of people don't like to drop shot, but it produces bites in tough conditions. Congrats
Congrats on the win. On those tough days, getting a limit is really important. Two of the local tournaments I've won I was the only one with a limit and you remember how much just having a limit mattered on the Delta back in May.
Thanks Gary! I actually won the first tourney I fished this year in East Texas at Lake O' the pines and now I won the last tourney I fished this year for 17'. Seems fitting I suppose lol
Congrats man you won! Those 2-3 lbers at the end clinched it. Really good video , I love the topography of that lake , it looks like one of the lakes that Glen May from Bass Resource does his tutorials on.
Hey man! Hope you come out to Az and do some fishing here! Your a great fisherman! Also wondering if you have extra Fishing kayaks that you don’t use, and if anything want to sell them?!
Greg Blanchard yea we do. But honestly I’ve haven’t fished the lake in a while. They recently drained and refilled the lake so I haven’t touched it. Saguaro, Apache, canyon, Roosevelt, Alamo, or havasu would be the best if your just going to fish. Just giving my opinion.
Camache looks a good deal like where I fish here in Phoenix, Scorpion Bay, but we have nearly no structure, but lots of rock... it's a desert lake and I am still exploring the edges.
Curious about your rear view GoPro setup. Is it in the waterproof case? Because if so I’m pleasantly surprised at how well it picks up sound with the case on. I’m just curious because I’m wanting to get a camera to film my kayak trips but didn’t want to sacrifice too much Sound by putting it in a case, but if you’re using a case getting these results I think I’d be fine.
I have a goofy question, just received my NRS boots (think that's what you are wearing) and they fit great... have you been wearing yours long and do you find them sturdy? Can't get out on the yak until next Monday for the first field test. And, I agree in the beginning that fog was kind of sketchy, thankfully it cleared up.
It's supposed to get up in the low 70s here in Tallahassee this afternoon so I'll probably pull one of my kayaks out and fish some this afternoon. Hope to catch some "largies."
Wow! First place with 43.5? Definitely a tough day, but still a quality win. Congrats!

Nice win, you can't go wrong with the drop shot. I like how you stuck with it for most of the day. A lot of people don't like to drop shot, but it produces bites in tough conditions. Congrats

Thanks man! Tough day but drop shot saved it!
Congrats on the win. On those tough days, getting a limit is really important. Two of the local tournaments I've won I was the only one with a limit and you remember how much just having a limit mattered on the Delta back in May.

Nice job brother. Congratulations!!! Its always a good omen when you stick your finger before catching your first fish. Gotta chum the waters. Lol

Awsome Greg. Keep up the great videos.
Well done Greg , congrats on your victory .keep up the great work , luv your vids. :)
Thanks Cassie! Appreciate you watching!
Alright you pulled it off and found a pattern. Nice job buddy. I gotta say I never have caught any drop shot fish that deep either. Thumbs up
THanks Samuel! Same here, just glad things fell into place to point me towards that direction.
Congrats man you won! Those 2-3 lbers at the end clinched it. Really good video , I love the topography of that lake , it looks like one of the lakes that Glen May from Bass Resource does his tutorials on.
Thanks man! beautiful lake for sure, hope i can get back there in the next couple weeks. Ill check GLen out
I love the video as always bro. Been thinking about doing some kayak videos myself.
Thanks man, do it!
LOL I love how you always say small limit but you get 1st or 3rd good finish
Haha, good point. This has been a weird year in Norcal with some oddly small limits/stringers doing well.
You should try trolling a crank bait behind you when you pedal
Great job!! Congrats
Hey man! Hope you come out to Az and do some fishing here! Your a great fisherman! Also wondering if you have extra Fishing kayaks that you don’t use, and if anything want to sell them?!
Thanks Matt! WOuld love to fish AZ. You have tempe town lake right?
Greg Blanchard yea we do. But honestly I’ve haven’t fished the lake in a while. They recently drained and refilled the lake so I haven’t touched it. Saguaro, Apache, canyon, Roosevelt, Alamo, or havasu would be the best if your just going to fish. Just giving my opinion.
Nice job!!
Another great video! Keep them coming, I look forward to them.
How do you work the drop shot??
Thanks jay! usually twitch and pause but on this day it was soaking it and let it just dead stick for the bite
Greg Blanchard thats brotha. You the man!
Congrats on first 👌🏽
Thanks, Gabriel!
Great job!
How do you go from catching one fish to winning it all??? By throwing the dropshot of course! Congrats on the W.
haha, can't be the good ole drop shot! Thanks man
Literally, the best channel, Great Video as always!!!
Much appreciated man! Thanks for watching!
congrats, looks like you killed it compared to other fishermen. those small spots do like to bunch up in schools
THanks man! it was a tough day so happy to just get a limit

Good job Greg!
Well done Greg!
Congrats bro! Nice
Very welcome bud keep it up man 👍🎣
Great W!🖒👍
Awesome win man love your videos my favorite UA-camr keep it up
Thanks man, I appreciate the support!
What did you win?
Camache looks a good deal like where I fish here in Phoenix, Scorpion Bay, but we have nearly no structure, but lots of rock... it's a desert lake and I am still exploring the edges.
Whats the longest bass you've ever caught
25.50''
congradulations

gopro 5 is waterproof and should pick up audio just fine!
Greg Blanchard thanks 👍🏻
congrats Greg how come you were using a spinning reel and not you usual bait caster ?
Martin Hawkins he is finesse fishing a drop shot...you are better off using a spinning reel for this technique
Heck yeah man! Congrats on the win! Killed it on that drop shot.
Thanks Brandon!
I can’t figure out how he doesn’t have more subscribers + views your vids are legit
Thanks man, appreciate it.
Hey Greg. What Model Raymarine Dragon fly are you using.
I believe it's a 5. Got off amazon for like 600 bucks a few years ago. still working and love it
Nice!
Did you upgrade the audio? Sounds really good
No just using the chest cam audio! I do like it tho
I caught my pb on Camanche the day before that lol
I have a goofy question, just received my NRS boots (think that's what you are wearing) and they fit great... have you been wearing yours long and do you find them sturdy? Can't get out on the yak until next Monday for the first field test.
And, I agree in the beginning that fog was kind of sketchy, thankfully it cleared up.
Sturdy, yes. I've been wearing mine for about a year in water temps from high 40's to low 80's
Greg, it looks like you have very little line on your reel. Did I really hear you calling largemouths "largies?"
lol, yeah, i need to respool. Yep, "largies"
It's supposed to get up in the low 70s here in Tallahassee this afternoon so I'll probably pull one of my kayaks out and fish some this afternoon. Hope to catch some "largies."
