Literally drooling over this.
It's a great fork, I have a 2020 36 with the fit, 4 got a great deal on it, and it works awesome, sometimes having too much adjustability is too complicated to get just right
It would be awesome to see Force-Velocity plots of Grip2 vs the competitors. I.e, rockshox. Operational range, shock fade, oil aeration, stantion tube friction coefficient, max travel comparisons, weight, positive and negative airspring pressure adjustment ranges, progressivity ranges, and so on.
The CAD animations are impressive and beautiful, but folks already come to expect solid functionality from a top manufacturer like Fox Factory.
Also, did he bottom out at 0:44?
BurnDuration bottom outs happen. The big question is did he feel it and to what extent did he feel it.
Roman Medina probably not. I think as long as the rider has confidence in the bike setup beneath him/her-that is the most important.
im getting my 36 with grip2 next week cant wait
me too🤩, but to be honest, don't really understand the mechanics, plus it's all so many foreign English words for me as a German😂🤷♂️
This is one reason I am buying the 2025 Stump Jumper 15. I want aluminum and I want that FOX FACTORY 38! I am not sure about the Shimano SLX drivetrain. I already have a HT with XT/XTR components. I might look at other brands as well. So, the manager at TREK told me he thinks FOX is a better fork than RockShox. I am not sure of that because I am still using my RSHOX JUDY long travel XC fork and never had to have it serviced and never had any issues with it. I don't think they need to be serviced unless the seals are leaking, and the fork just does not feel the same. We all when something does not feel right, we get it fixed. Well, that is how I am with my cars.
Got mine the best suspension on the planet
nah
Perfect.
I love fox
FOX AND ROKSHOKS BEST FORKS OF THE WORLD
Sr SuNtOUr ArE beTtEr!
its spelled rockshox and they are easier so service
@@Basement_CNC it’s spelled to and a lower leg service is exactly the same process on both, aside from which seals and oil they need. Air spring service is the same and the dampers are very similar just different tools….
Does anyone know where I can find suggested base settings for the high/low compression for a 2022 Factory Series 24 Float 29 130MM GRIP2 damper? When I look up what is supposed to be my manual, I don't see anything about Grip2 settings.
Is metal fatigue an issue with that leaf that has a mobile fulcrum point? In other words does that little metal leaf need to be swapped out every season and will it ever snap off?
my new bike came with a faulty fox 34 fork... i havent fixed it yet but the the thre way position isnt working.... firm and medium is the same... full lockout is working... what can cause this problem
Wow!
whats that fox 49 at 0:09?
A Fox 40 for 29er wheels.
DH fork 49
Yes
On My grip2 damper... the HSR and LSR are moving at the same time...only 8-9 clicks.... cant make them spin indepently... any idea why???
isn't that normal?
Great Video
Im running a fox 32 (120mm)(2013), would it be able to endure freeride?
One/1 depends how hard you huck
Me recuerda al durolox solo que en dorado y el doble de caro... C:
i love it, cant afford it :(
qual a diferença entre os óleos 3r 5wt para 5w com teflon?
Would the LSC be enough supportive during explosive accelerations? I'd rather keep a stiffer fork than enhanced DH performance which i find already enough.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍👍👍
I feel like with this design, the helical ribs on the HSR adjuster plate will eventually wear from the rubbing of the leaf spring as the HSR circuit is opened and closed. Do you have a testing machine that just constantly cycles the fork to test for this kind of wear, Fox?
.........................It's fox dude you think they dont?
I have the 2019 fox 36 but the fit4 damper is the grip2 an huge difference
we understood everything you said
What
?
I said that i have the 2019 fox 36 fit4 and was asking if the fox 36 grip2 damper is worth the upgrade? Thank you
David yes it’s better than the FIT 4
❤
How can I adjust the rebound of my fox 34 performance fit grip?
My grip 2 dampner will not respond to rebound adjustment and feels like a rigid fork on fast downhill stuff. Less the 200 miles. Emailed fox months ago and no response. Very disappointed
$A Kidney.
