Nice bike ! Congratulations on your purchase. I’m pretty sure that would suffice for all of my needs ( hunting , fishing small household chores and occasional trail runs ) but I just want that differential lock capability, the slightly larger tires and more robust suspension as well as the LED headlight on the handle bars and larger 518cc displacement that the Foreman offers . And then you start getting up into the price range of the Rubicon with IRS , the DCT transmission and power steering and I don’t know but I just might go all out and go that route too . But can say that that Rancher is an ideal size especially in tight technical terrain where a closer turning radius and smaller wheel base is more beneficial. I know there’s a rancher that offers electric shift and IRS and EPS , but no diff lock . Solid machines though no matter which one you choose , can’t really go wrong with a Honda .
Yeah even as new as mine is barely 2 months old the suspension is soft from factory body roll is terrible but still am satisfied with the way it rides. It’s just physics my man
Nice! Down in Mississippi.. Ole Miss county. Those guys look good! I like the slate grey, but this color goes well with the Mississippi football colors.
I just bought a new Rancher 3 days ago. What is the white corrosive shit on the wheels and lug nuts? All four of my wheels are covered in that stuff. Your back left wheel has a lot of it too. I'm going back to the Honda dealer in the morning to get some shit straightened out. I found the issues with the wheels, bolts missing, loose bolts, and about 20 different colors of paint marker all over my machine. I will post a video of all the issues I found if Honda doesn't make it right with me in the morning. Later!
I recently purchased 2025 Honda Rancher 420. There is a good possibility that it’s Hondabond that they put on the lugs to secure the lug nuts, not a big issue. It will wash off. You mentioned loose bolts, and different colors of paint ? I worked in a parts manufacture for GM, Ford, and Chrysler, to see different colors of what looks like a green sharpie, or orange marker or pain on bolts is completely normal. As the machine goes through different stages of the assembly process, workers make marks for various reasons on the parts, sometimes it’s just a mark indicating that specific component, or part has been inspected and checked. Honda has the factory process of assembling the machines on UA-cam. It’s completely normal. Securing the wheel to the hub is very important. Always torque your wheels with a torque wrench, for the Rancher it’s 47 ft lbs . I have plenty of videos on my channel about mine, as well as painting the hubs.
@@TiffanyBottomsHuntercheck your axle nuts too mine was lose on my 24 can't remember but it's in the neighborhood of 100ft lbs. I had clunking on my sra and that's what it was. Even worse I bought a 24 crf110 for my son and he wanted the honda stickers on I was putting them on where he wanted and my finger rubbed against the front axle nut and it spun. That really pissed me off that was the first day we got it and it was just by chance I found that but we both had already rode it. You can bet diversity played a role in this.

It’s some kinda anti rust wax or could be debris from nearby construction said the guy that loaded it for me

@@JohnnyRebLa mine weren’t loose, I painted the hubs.
@@JohnnyRebLa The best place to the correct torque specs is in a Honda genuine technician service manual.
@@JohnnyRebLa axle nuts have castle nuts with pins through them, that’s odd it would be spinning
