I love your Ponché recipe. I added walnuts to my pot because this is a family tradition. I don't like the hard seeds from the guyabas. So I scoop them out, boil this pulp separately, then drain this into my ponché pot. I discard those annoying seeds. Hope your Mom is doing well. Prayers to you and the family.
I am so happy I found you and this lovely Ponche recipe... last year at this time I was in the Heart of Mexico "Puebla" enjoying the village come alive with cooking Ponche in the streets along with many other holiday treats! I simply adore the process and on my morning walk saw the ingredients going into the huge Steamer to my evening walk when I actually got to purchase a taza de ponche.... MIL GRACIAS!
This punch looks delicious! Thanks for sharing your recipes. Thxs to your husband for the flowers. Every woman loves flowers and better yet to be appreciated by your partner in life. ❤️
How funny that you said that about some of us living in rural places 😂 I just moved to FL in a very rural town no Hispanics around y viendo todos los ingredientes im like i won’t be able to make this :( extraño vivir cerca de la tiendita o el swap meet donde vende fruta
SECOND UPDATE: this was SO GOOD! Followed the recipe exactly (even added more Jamaica like y’all did! 😜) My mom and my Sister were huge fans. My sister’s boyfriend is from Mexico and he tasted this and literally said “Oh my gosh, this tastes like Mexico!”
Oh my word, you two are killing me with love and kindness!!! Can I be your neighbor? You two make everything wonderful and I can not say this enough, the love between you too sisters is beautiful!! It makes me cry I have two sisters that I ❤️ very much but we have had so much pain and dysfunction we are not speaking. Your punch made me so thirsty for fruit! It looks delicious! I wish you both a very Blessed and safe Holiday season!🎁🎁🎁🙏🙏🎁🎁Thank you for sharing!
I'll be over for Xmas and will sleep in my car! LOL Tell The Grizzly thanks for the beautiful bouquet...you have the best husband Steph!!! Love you Mijas mucho!!!! XOXOXOXO
Looks good.how does it taste.i am not mexican though we have some mexican traditions because of my families culture but not this one.it is a fresh homeade fruit punch holiday drink but it looks good.its amazing how to flavor can be infused into the liquid by boiling the fruits.
I just heard about ponche today. I’m definitely making this a new tradition. I’m very happy to see you promoting responsibility as well. Thank you thank you thank you! I’ve enjoyed several of your videos. I always want to make sure I’m doing it right. Thank you again.
Some of us do live in them dag on real rural places - can’t get most of these ingredients? It’s ok Steph. Love watching y’all. You always do ur best! Thank you 4 all ur hard work amiga‼️
Hello mija. You nailed it! My great grandmother used to make that punch for us at Christmas. Brings back so many memories. Thank you. Also thank your hubby for the beautiful floral arrangement. Feliz Navidad y Prospero Ano.♥️
I bet it’s good! I would eat that fruit to! Live in El Paso and we have all of this, thank you for this recipe! You and your sis are sooooo sweet!❤️🇺🇸🌻🌷
Thank you for sharing your family's recipes. I lost my Grandma on my Dad's side when I was 14, then before I was ready to learn from mi Tia she has passed as well. Your way of teaching and the back and forth with your sis, makes me feel like Grandma(y mi Tia) sent me to find you. I feel all your emotions when you speak on the love for your family, it warms my heart. I'm new here yet am already hooked! I have already used your red pork recipe for tamales and they came out fabulous, my family and friends were impressed. It was only my second time making red pork and will be using your recipe again!
I bought a bag of frozen fruits that I just boil with water for the ponche and then add sugar at the end. I need to learn how to make it with fresh fruits so here I am watching your video! At least I can compare the frozen bag (Yaesta!) to the real deal! Thank you for your video! You are not cringy - you are cute and I like your sense of humor! Saludos desde Wisconsin! ❤
Grizzly does such nice details!🤗😘 I love making Christmas Mexican Ponche. Not only is it delicious but it makes the house smells so good. Definitely making it this year!😋😍 Wishing you and your family a fabulous Christmas!🎄🎅🍰💜
Thank you for putting so much detail into your productions. I am Mexican but grew up in Texas. I now live with my husband, both retired, in Morelia, Michoacan. We have been here over 6 years and love everything about it. Trouble is I am having to learn Spanish and all of our family recipes died with my Mom and Abuelita Genoveva, born in 1908 and 1873 respectively. You are the real deal and I am learning so much from you. I am hosting an expat comida on Christmas day and your recipes will be front and center. Pozole, tamales, ponche, flan, and pastel de tresleches. You are my angel! ¡Muchisimas gracias!
Wow !! What a unique Punch. So festive!! Wish I had some right now! 🍷🍍🍎🎄💃🏾Thanks for sharing the flower arrangement Steph.💐 Happy Holidays to you all!! 🥰🎄🎁🙏🏾
