    The video goes through the exercises and tremoring process of Trauma Release Exercises (TRE) created by Dr. David Bercelli.
    Trauma (personal, generational, and collective) can put your brain in hypervigilance mode (fight/flight).
    TRE helps work down and release chronic muscular tension, downregulating your nervous system in the process.
    Using TRE as a regular practice can work off layers of trauma in your nervous system.

    Wowww! That was amazing! Thank you so much. Am looking for ways to regulate my nervous system to try to slowly heal from the chronic illness ME/CFS. I feel at peace & safe, which is extremely rare! Thank youuuuu xoxo

    Thanks Isha. This was very helpful. I’m fairly new to this practice but my body responded so well that I find I am having spontaneous tremors now at times when I am not practicing TRE (Not sure if that is normal or not but I am just allowing my body to do what it wants to do.) I recorded myself today while going along with you and it is totally fascinating to see how my body moves. There are waves and violent shakes and tremors that start up all over and carry across to other parts. I was crying even as we started the exercises to fatigue the muscles. I feel this is life changing! Thanks again for sharing. I plan to talk about this in my podcast one day and will likely link you as a resource xx

    That's mental. I heard about this last night decided to try it today. Watched a video, nothing. Just watched this to give it one last try and my legs were clapping like mad. When I stood up after about 10 mins of doing it my head was shaking side to side hahaha

      Many people don't tremble or tremor the first time... What you're doing is training the body to move energy in this way. It can take a few tries before the body allows the release.

      @@isha_vela 3rd time all the way thru still not tremor BUT I feel closer and I feel really in touch with my body. The butterfly bridge feel massaging to my lower belly and intestinal area

      But let me add that I have a injured cocxios from 25 years ago which still causes pain and I know the tension stored there is chronic. Im trying to heal it.

    The only issue that I have with us is that my knees, I have both been broken. So that specific type of weight-bearing is not possible for me there must be some other form of exercise that can do the same thing for trauma release.

    Hello! Just triedit. Is that normal to experience burning in all the lower party of the body? It started with feet, legs and now is up to the genital-pelvic floor. Is that a releasing form?

    This was awesome! Question, I felt extremely nauseous after the trembling, is that normal?

    • @isha_vela
      @isha_vela  5 місяців тому

      It's possible to have lots of different responses from your body. Nausea can be the release of a stick energy. It would be interesting to see if it happens again.

    I’m “expressing my anger and frustration” with an exercise video that is interspersed with inane adverts. So I had to quit the exercises to ‘skip’ the ads, otherwise they would just keep on running.

    Is TRE contraindicated in anyone?

    • @isha_vela
      @isha_vela  3 роки тому +3

      I've used it with many people and I get all types of reactions to it. Worst case scenario: some people get pretty frightened of their own body's innate abilities, but talking them through it helps them trust themselves more. Body psychotherapy in general should not be used with people who have psychosis or with folks who have higher levels of dysregulation along with underdeveloped healthy ego functioning. In those cases it can be too ungrounding.

      @@dalastpharaoh same. I think she means to do this in person, a one-on-one consult with an experienced trauma release specialist. You can also search for a trauma informed somatic practitioner. That way it's catered to you and done slowly and in the right order 👍
