Ya HCGs way of adding a sub-hilt on this knife is definitely a little gimmicky but like you said, it did get ran through the wringer with DBAD and did hold up well! Shame they didn't use a different scale material or at least the color(e.i. Coyote Brown). Good video brother!🤪🔪🔪
Thank you sir! And yes I don’t really understand why they decided to go with the green scales and the dark finish on the blade. If they had done it how the Pohl design looked I’d definitely like this better than the United Cutlery Heartstopper because it feels much better in the hand.
Get yourself some Cold Steel preferably a Tai Pan in San Mai Steel or 3v steel those are true to form military style Heart Stoppers and so is the German 440C steel America Soldier Design by the Col. himself Rex Applegate the Boker Applegate Fairbairn Combat II Dagger check them out and see just what a true to form Heart Stopper is and looks like but I do appreciate the Last Blood versions. 🗡️🗡️🗡️🔪🔪🔪
everywhere i looked they say "high quality stainless steel". so i guess it's lousy 5Cr, maybe 7Cr if we are very lucky. still bad. brands using decent steels name them, take pride in their choice, or at least explain it.
Exactly which is why when I was looking on their website they don’t specify what kind of steel is used on this knife but yet will still say what kind of leather the sheath is made of. Either way like I said in the video, Donnie B All Day did some videos using this and it held up pretty well.

I do have a few cold steel knives but I don’t have that one. It is on my list of knives I want to get though, it’s awesome!
