Love, love , love your top! I would have picked that fabric from your daughter’s stash too! I didn’t realize that she sews!!! Awesome! Great pointers on how to cut the fabric out. I struggled with mine too but I got it. Another winner in the books for us! I truly enjoyed this collaboration with you and I’m looking forward to the next one!! 🏆 🏅 ❤❤!
I love your top. You have totally inspired me to make a top with that pattern that I have had for at least a year. I am washing my fabric today to get ready for the sew along.
Beautiful fabric and color. Love that tangerine. Did you select size of pattern according to high bust or full bust? I am currently trying to learn Palmer Pletsch tissue fitting.
Thank you! I go by the high bust when there is no finished bust measurement. It's really helpful. I really just simply mark the seam allowance on the pattern pieces, pin them together, and try them on. I then make any necessary adjustments before cutting out the actual fabric.
I agree I use high bust for finished garment measurements, mark seam allowances on my traced pattern pieces then double check and also use Palmer Pletsch tissue fitting methods. It hasn’t failed me yet. I use it for fitting my family members as well. Good luck.
@@LovingHandsDesign I use high bust on the general measuring chart when there are no finished garment measurements on the package or pattern piece. I use my full bust measurement for finished garment measurements all the time.

So happy to hear you’ll be doing a sewalong. I don’t know how much work is involved in doing one but I hope to see more if it’s not too much 😊
It’s a lot of work but you’ll see more. Thank you!
That is a really cute top on you!!! I have made 5 cotton summer New Look tops since May. I’m making casual clothes, since that is what I wear mostly.

Cute top! When you chose a pattern size, did you go by the high bust or the full bust?
Thank you! I went by full bust. I go by the high bust when there is no finished bust measurement.
