was discharged 42 years ago. during my life i have had several people ask me if i had been in the corps? when i asked why they asked they usually said, " the demeanor." didn't know it showed. but i sure as hell ain't ashamed of it. Semper Fi
Think about the fact that the guys who had your back the best were the ones you met in the Corps!! You wanted to know what you (we) were made off, and we sure as hell found out!
Mr. Robert Moorfield. I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for this amazing post of a video. This video has touched me. It always does when I watch it. The fact that you chose that song from Gods of War really impacts the power and nobility of our Brothers And Sisters out there. There Sacrifice is great and we should all be aware that there is no greater love then to lay down ones life willingly and honorably without fear or regret in place of millions of lives. Truly, Americans are amazing. I am Proud and Blessed, as are we all. No Fear, No Excuses, No Marine Left Behind. God Bless The United States of America!
Thank you very much! I appreciate it! I support all branches and our men and women sacrificing for our country. I believe the best way to show my support was and to show others the sacrifices they made was to make this video. Please, feel free to share with your friends and family and others!
He died for his country and his compatriots, for his family and children. There is no greater honor for a man. Message of condolence from a man in Sweden
- Although I've seen lots of recruiting ads/ commercials in my now (64) yrs, I've never seen better. As a (former) Marine, from my Veteran's perspective, this is the best so far. This really captures the spirit of the Marine Corps - those I remember, & served with; those that came before, as well as how I felt, & continue to . . . - I remember hearing somewhere "if you going to do something worthwhile, in your life-time, do this !" (be a Marine) you'll never regret it (& I never have) . . . . Maybe the high-point in my life, so far - Semper Fi to all my Brothers C.G. Reus MCRD P. I. Warrior. C.G. Reus. You are not a "former" marine, buddy. You are always a Marine. Til you get to die. And, if we get called up to defend our nations, you will be there. Even if you have to bring your own weapons. From a Canadian paratrooper. Retired, but waiting for the green light. First in the stick. Totally tensed. The Jumpmaster has to hold me back. Double door mass C130. Night jump. Full combat load. And I would be proud to man a slit trench beside any US Marine. And they won't overrun us. Fuck with the best.... you know the rest soldier. Airborne. All the way.
Undoubtedly and without question, I agree fully with your words. Keep this message as strong as the souls and lingering spirits of our men an women Marines. Semper Fidelis will always be etched in our hearts as both a promise and the fiercest war cry ever spake in history!
Currently a soldier in training and it brings me great sorry to see the new generation of soldiers not giving AF about training. Thank God I will always be A MARINE!!!
What do you mean? You said you're a soilder in training, no way in hell are you anywhere near a marine because we don't call ourselves SOILDER!! I am tired of people trying to claim something they never earned. Too many men died in bootcamp just to get the chance to earn the title MARINE!! So, please don't do that. No true marine will ever join or call himself a soilder.
I will always be a marine I am a prior. So if you didn't know don't assume. Just simply ask. Boot camp back then was rough. And coming back in as a soldier is way different
This isn't the marine corps I know. Snitching on fellow ddogs, writing mommy about drill instructors yelling at them, woman dies training men and they don't meet the same pt standards. However, I'm still proud to say I'm a marine. Semper fi!!
They are real marines because they earn it. Marines don't belittle any marines accomplishments. They may not be the marines of my era the 84-95 but they're still real marines.
Of course you can! The music used is not made by me. It's called "Heart of Courage" by Two Steps From Hell. You can use anything from this video if you want. Like I said, I got all my video's from youtube and bought the music for it, but take what you like.
Today, Oct. 24, 2021 I saw the new woke Army ad. It depressed me. Thank you so much for reminding us all of the dedication vets have given to their chosen force and their country. And to all the veterans that have visited and will visit this page, truly, from my heart, I thank you.

Wait, so are you a soldier or a marine? There's a difference.

USMC is the only strong branch left in modern day unfortunately and they have really relaxed throughout the years
Yeah?...I'm sure you'd piss yourself at Paris Island.

I am a Marine , but now march in army of the LORD. these kids in suck now don't know what it is to be a MARINE !!!
"The Suck" haven't heard that since 1995!!!
They are real marines because they earn it. Marines don't belittle any marines accomplishments. They may not be the marines of my era the 84-95 but they're still real marines.
This idea. I like it. I must make one, too! Thanks for this! :)

my cousin was in MARSOC. a real bad ass
Marsoc was created because the other branches didn't like the Marines. The Corp's mission is amphibious, marsoc is too SF.
I’m going to join the marine raiders
