That mold from corrugated plastic is the easiest homemade mold I've ever seen. It looks like it would work great...easy to unmold and inexpensive!
Thank you Joy. It is really quick, affordable and easy to make. They also last a very long time if not mishandled. You just need to support the sides for larger sizes to prevent bulging.
This is very clever. Thank you for showing this. Love it. In AUstralia, we call it ‘Corflute’. I will be trying this.
You are most welcome.
Lots of useful...its cool ❣️
Thank you Sadun. Glad if you can use the info. Keep an eye out for the weekend's video. A free Diy Soap Planer that works better than a vegetable peeler 😀
Hi there. Which supplier do you use for the sheets of baking paper?
Hi Michelle, I've seen Baking paper at Pick n Pay before, most baking supplies stores like Bakers Bin also keeps it in stock. I've been corrected by a friend, apparently baking paper and grease proof paper differ in that baking paper is coated with silicone and works better. I've been using grease proof paper for many years without any problems but maybe it is worth the effort to get your hands on baking paper.
Dear Ansa Thank you so much for sharing this method. Do you think we could use a thick pvc-like plastic sheet as a liner inside this mold?
It is my pleasure, I've never tried something like that, I've always only lined it with baking paper. You could always experiment and see how it goes. If you do try it out, I would love to get some feedback on that..
@@saponify6677 Hi Ansa. I made a batch yesterday with pvc lining in the correx mould. It came out perfect. The plastic comes off just like from a silicone mould, also leaving a shiny glaze. Bonus is it can be used many times. My pvc sheet had some crinkles on so that came though on some bars, but all & all I recon using a new fresh sheet to cut to size to fit the correx mould will be 100%.
@@inhisways7298 That is awesome 👌. Thank you for taking the time to give me feedback, I appreciate it a lot.
It's a paper or thick paper 😃😃😃 OMG
can you say later or now pls pls 😭😭
Hi Myint. Apologies for taking so long to get back to you. The "Corex" board is a plastic version of corrugated cardboard.
