Splendid video, Alan. Nice to see Evening Star in action. The rolling stock appears to be in superb condition too. It must have been a very good day out! Phil
Thanks Phil. I rate it as one of my most satisfactory. 'Evening Star' aka 92214 and Central Star' is now unfortunately labelled 'Leicester City'! Still, the Stars sound like newspapers! Alan.
I'm pleased that you found it interesting Noel. It was enjoyable to do something different and it also brought back a lot of memories of the ancillary activities.Alan
BillandBen Fan14 I can't reply direct to you as there is no facility on your query. Sadly the poor chap was severely mentally handicapped, or with learning difficulties as we must call it these days, you can see him getting very excited at 3.35 as the 9F pulls in.
Great video, shame I couldn't make the event - it's nice to see shunting and the freights being used. What camera have you used for the video? (It's very clear)
no thomas was inpired by a lbscr e2 and thomas was a e2 not a jinty the e2s were shunting engines 10 of them were built and all ten of them were scrapped and thomas is the only suviuor of his class

Martin Randall Thank you Martin. I use a Panasonic HC-X920 camera with Rode Serial No 0142361 microphone. A great combination. Alan
I see this must be how Thomas the Tank Engine was inspired...unless I'm thinking of a different railway...
***** It would certainly be a shunter somewhere. I wish I'd thought of it first!
