    I heard from Myriam at Myriam's Nature that if you paint the tops of the lids of the inks with a drop of white paint, and then put the color of ink on top of the white, you can always get the right cap on the right bottle. Thank you for the video . . . make some more!

    Love what you have done with the ceramic tile. I have painted on ceramic tiles using alcohol inks. Love the beauty, and with brush, and Q tip, no dryer was necessary! This is beautiful 😍
    Thank you for sharing.

    I thought (from playing with the alcohol inks) that they were WAAAAY too uncontrollable so this vid has been a revelation. In another vid could you show how you did the leaves?

    I'm such a newbie that I don't know how you put the trees in. I've got to find a more "beginner's" demonstration. Thanks for posting.

      I'm kinda a noob too. havent played a lot with my alcohol ink..but I use yupo and I have pulled all the color off I believe what she did...Used straight 90 %+alcohol ..no ink. and almost anti-painted...painted them with the alcohol..wiping all the ink off the brush or even a qtip would probably work for removing the ink in the tree shape. I hope you managed to figure it out...have fun

    Wish you had talked while you were painting! What is the bottle of fluid to the right that you used on the background? What was in the small pot that you used to remove the ink and make the trees?

    Sorry for all the comments lol! Seriously you need to do at least one video a week! That tile you did is gorgeous! Are you on the Alcohol Ink Art Community Facebook group?? You could create 10 or so videos off the bat and release one per week. During those weeks you can take your time and shoot more!

    Welcome to video land! I can see you're right handed, you might wish to set your camera up on the left. I couldn't really tell what you did at all to the birch tree details. At the end of the video, you may wish to hold your piece a bit closer so the details can be viewed. Out side of the helpful hints, your ending piece of art looked great! Best wishes with your future videos, I look forward to them! 😁 👍 ❤️

    What do you recommend for sealing alcohol ink work just for protecting and to prevent fading? I have seen some mention of varnishes, but I am guessing some are better for alochol inks than others?

    • @JulieTibus
      @JulieTibus  Рік тому

      Hi ! Spraying with a fixative that won't disturb the inks is so important- I use Kamar Varnish Aerosol Spray and let dry for 24 hours and then a Gallery Series UV Archival Varnish spray - both are on Amazon

    • @diananighswonger7227

      yes i like it when the videos are not sped up because even tho they might be a little longer than some people like, its better to see how you actually do it in real time. I don't watch videos that are sped up. If its too long for you don't watch it. Move to a sped up one. there are thousands of same techniques.
