I've been using ETSM for a couple years now till I found IWSM, my god are those guys SMASHING it. I just tried ETSM now after V4 released, it's just overwhelming af, you cant hear directional a lot of the time and everything is so incredibly loud.

I did exactly as you showed in the video but when i opened tha game the voice of the crew didn't change should i change something in the game to or do I have to click some key pads to activate it?

Would highly recommend using the eoic thunder sound mod IV, in ny opinion, this is the best sound mod you can find.
That it is, but it requires a few more lines for the mod, becoming a bit more tedious for the average user.
@@JustinPlaysTV fair point, I remember first time seeing this trying to install a sound mod and I was so lost. 😂 I'm willing to help out anyone who asks though, when you find out where you need to insert that specific line it's super easy!

One thing with sound mods is don't use them during A tournament. It can get you banned, even if they are on WT live.

ok so i did the steps then got to the config.blk part, i opened up the config.blk with notepad but then i scrolled down and there wasn't a part that said sound, why does it not come up for me??? has this happened to anyone else and if so can you tell me how to fix it?
try to use crtrl+f or you just redownload the game

I installed the IWSM 6 mod and it turned my tanks into stealth tanks. No engine sound what so ever.

IWSM is available only to paying members I think? Thankfully ETSM IV is finally here and it’s completely superior to almost all other realistic sound mods, with the possible exception of PCSM.
Just learn about custom crosshair yesterday now I made a ahegao custom crosshair and going now add moaning sound. Gotta love the war thunder
1/4 of my crosshair is taken by an anime girl
I have been consistently using the red dragons voicepack since the previous Chinese crew voice was so bad, however it seems a lot better now. It would be really cool if someone can do a hebrew voice pack using wargame assets since the Israeli crew voicelines are rather uninteresting.

I just want to know why I can't combine different .BANK files from differed creators all in one??? I read you can but when i do, it doesn't work. I am 🤏 to creating my own sound mod from FMOD.
I tried it once, broke all of my sounds because of it.. I'm sure you can, I just haven't figured it out yet
The most important .bank file is masterbank, if you have to replace this one (in case you try to use 2 mods) then it will break things
you cant. its like creating 2 files with the same name, its not possible, or only one of them will exist.

Edit: I fixed it, had to tweak some sound settings in game and it appeared

@Xpilot587 All I did was change my master volume in the game and closed it up and it was there in the notepad

@Xpilot587 hmmm, try just messing with different audio settings and tweaking them making sure you have the wt file closed, if not maybe there's a tut to help?

oh justyn do tank sound mod and voice mod do is on same folder ?
yes but make sure the sound mod also doesnt overwrite the tank sounds, otherwise only one of them will work..
if you have 2 sound mods and they each use the same file then only one of those will work

@lapokat4663 yeah, extract all sound mods Into the mod folder. Both voice and tank/plane sound mods.
