Great review. I am looking to up grade my current power setup. I have an older TT power bank and they work great. I am not in need of the solar charger, but hey it is there so use it when you can. My main need in these types of portable power banks is the need for the thing to “not” turn off while in use. Do you know if this has the option to set it where it will never turn off? I have used my hold ones for running LED light strings in camp, all of the sudden boom boom out go the lights. 😂😂 thanks. Well done!
Hmmmm I'd look at the new Anker Prime power banks TBH this is the one I have but they come on in different sizes. Not cheap but they are amazing: amzn.to/3GoY2nE
Hey bud thanks for the review. Question for ya though. Will the power bank recharge faster if you plug in both the android and type C at the same time? Or does it charge by using just o w or the other? Thanks ✌️
Let bigfoot be your power and when you meet him you can thank him for the bigfoot solar power bank! Solar power hanks are getting more popular now but this one is called bigfoot the great American myth! Everybody who does hiking and wild camping should pick this one up as you never know you might be visited by bigfoot! Great review and I love the name of this solar power bank!!!
How long will it take to charge and s10e? Just curious, I'm looking for a good battery pack that can charge my phone and my nintendo switch on the go. Also does it have fast charging capabilities?
ok, so here is my dilema .. I live in florida, the sunshine state. I am getting ready for hurricane season and power outages of 3 -10 days.. I am looking for emergency solar power for the cell phones only, since most modern cell phones can do almost everything a modern computer can do... My battery is a 3000 mah and my wifes battery is 3200 mah aprox. My worry is that this xxl unit will take too long to charge fully via the solar panel. With a smaller MAH unit such as 10k mah it will take shorter charge time and we will still be able to charge our phones collectively and still the charger will take even shorter to recharge with the residual charge left in its bank. Does this make any sense?? or am i going crazy with this??
So I would say that there are few things that you need to be concerned about with the scenario, one is that if it's cloudy outside and you don't have the good sunlight you're going to have a hard time charging anything with a solar panel. With that said even if you do get some sunlight this one solar panel on this charger is going to charge slowly another option that you could consider would be this power bank that has significantly more solar panels attached to help a charge much quicker ua-cam.com/video/zPWmLJXAmyk/v-deo.html
With this battery pack aside, another option would be a 100% dedicated solar pad to charge your power bank or cell phone as well via USB like this one amzn.to/30N9TG0
You can use this solar panel to charge your power bank or phone. It's much larger but still compact but has a great amount of charge in comparison to the small panel built into the power bank.
I've been searching for an elite powerbank. I seen the "lit" advertising and am I skeptical of online ads and whatnot. Thank gawd I peeped UA-cam and its atrocious.....hopefully this bad boy is a great buy.
It's simple math, because the battery pack is so large, yes it will take a long time to fully charge. But to charge your phone the battery pack doesn't need to be full
Yes it's just like plugging it into your wall charger. As long as you have your cable plugged in it charges and you can use your phone fully! 😊 thanks for checking out the video!
So I have what you would call a cheaper ripoff (rav power) wich works great, 25.000Ma and 300 Ma solar cell so I've had it for almost a year now and it works great, it's (was) almost half the price so would recomend
@@JDubbThank you very much! Im open for suggestions, I just want my stuff charged :) I will have a good surface area on the rear rack ontop of my panniers for a panel.
Right on! So in this case I would get a large power bank for sure, and then something additional to charge it via the sun like this solar panel amzn.to/30N9TG0
With something like this even when you can't have the battery pack charging in the Sun, you could run a cable into the backpack to charge the power bank using this type of solar panel. You can also use this to directly charge your phone via USB as well
It's made to convert sun light into power yes however the heat that can come from too long exposure to direct sunlight can be dangerous for the battery. With my testing, indirect sun works great without the heat.
@@JDubb , so heat is the killer of all things including material and humans lol. Includes the Engine and transmission lol But bacteria and viruses cqn also lol
After some testing I can't see any documentation about this not can I see a difference in charge speed with both plugged in. Sorry I couldnt be more definitive
Hi I love this review and I'm on the fence between this device and the outer 24000 man rugged solar power bank on that one you can charge it faster with both Jan c and micro sun much faster then either one alone I would love it if you could review that if you get a chance I think you might like that one even more than the bogfoot.
Link it for me? Also did you see this one I just reviewed yesterday? ua-cam.com/video/pKSdVt7uo_A/v-deo.html Might be a contender! Thanks for checking out the channel 😊
This isn't a review. You didn't even show that it works. I've tested countless battery packs and none of them charged by the sun. Also all of them were grossly over stated for capacity. You didn't prove it was ad advertised either. It could be a 10,000 mah battery that doesn't charge from the sun , like many others on Amazon and your review didn't do anything to show it wasn't.
This is a great question. It all comes down to the math really. It's a 400mAh solar panel so in 5 hours of good light it can load 2000mAh of battery onto the powerbank. If you have a 2000mAh battery then yes, I would say if you have a more modern smartphone with a 3000 mAh battery you would need more like 7.5 hours. If that makes sense. I think what's missing from that statement would be the context of device that they were talking about. I hope this helps
Plug & Play Reviews ok that’s close enough @ 2000 for my iPhone 7p. And if your in an emergency situation all your needing is enough power for a few calls or text so no biggie if it’s not @ 100%. Well thanks for the info & the video it was very helpful cuz I’m buying this bad boy !
@@JDubb thanks for the reply.. i just received the outxe 24000 yesterday, haven't used it yet but it appears to be a quality product and from what I've heard has a good warranty and customer service
If it is the same thing, you will love it. The ToughTested version has been fantastic. We had sever power outages last week and it was a life saver both as a flashlight but also charging our phones.
I know this is late but I just checked the user manual from the website. It says 5 hours of direct sunlight will give you the ability to charge your phone to 30%. Which to me sounds horrible. It's truly emergency use only if it's depleted as the solar charging function does not seem very capable.
Haha! 😂 Direct sun can seriously heat the battery and isn't completely necessary to get the max charge. Being in a bright location is enough. For example all of my charge testing was just putting it on my kitchen table which is in a very well lit room and it's worked great. Direct sun can boost that for short periods but VERY careful.
You need to scientifically test the claim of 24,000mah to prove their claim. All you have done is repeat useless sales hype. Not impressed with your style.
Whoevet came up with the concept of a Portable Charger, Big thumbs up and props to you. Just what evreyone should have.

You should show the flash light outside in the dark, how many lumens is the flash light?
The flashlights on these batteries are only better than nothing. Not very bright. But don't use much power so last a very long time.

Exactly. 3 days in the sunlight and the thing didn’t charge my phone
On Amazon in the description section it says 4-5hrs of solar charge for the BF will fully charge a phone. Is this true ?

Looks like one of two companies is selling it to other brands to rebrand it. This is VERY common in the world of tech TBH. Good find!

90 bucks for this with just 24000mah? Ohhh no!
